Doubleshot goes on the air and we see the packed audience inside the area. The cameras go over to the announce table with James Russell and Randal King.
JR: “Welcome ladies and gentlemen to DOUBLESHOT! This is James Russell alongside Randal King as always, and we have a good show for you tonight.”
RK: “Boy, do we ever, JR! First off, we will have an X-WCW Television Title match between Mike Magnus and Rayne Bloodstone. It’s an inter-gender match, JR, but I know Rayne can hang with the boys inside the ring.”
JR: “Let’s not forget the other match involving two rival tag teams: RNR and StarStorm. These two teams are going to square off in an Xtreme Cage Match. The winner of this match will gain the numbers advantage in the Xtreme Wargames match.”
RK: “A lot of things at stake to those two teams. Who will get the numbers advantage for their respective crew at Bloodbath?”
JR: “Finally, our main event: A preview of the Double 8 Finals! It’s going to be tag team action between Sean Byrne and Autobot Jazz as they square off against Rocky Davis and Nightmare.”
RK: “Strange bedfellows, JR, all four of them. I do not know if those four men can put their egos aside for one night and cooperate with one of their opponent for Bloodbath.”
JR: “What we know is, King, it’ll be one helluva Doubleshot.”
RK: “You know what, JR? I had thi…hold on…”
Randal gets something through his headphones, so does James Russell. Both men look at the camera.
JR: “Ladies and gentlemen, it seems like something is happening backstage. Right now there is a scuffle going on between two X-WCW superstars. We’ll send you to the backstage area right now.”
Backstage
The scene shifts to the backstage corridor where we see “The Young One” Sandy Drake and Andrew Radon throwing punches at each other. A few seconds later, a couple of referees try to pull them apart. We see TYO being restrained by one while Radon gets out of the referee that was restraining him to tackle TYO to the ground. Radon rains down the punches on TYO and grabs a nearby cable to choke him on the neck. He gets pulled away by the two referees and a third ring official storms in to help Sandy Drake get up on his feet. On the other side of the corridor, we see Radon speak in a calm manner.
AR: “Lemme go…I’m not gonna harm him anymore. Trust me.”
The two officials shrug and slowly let go of Radon’s arms. Radon just looks across the hallway to see the other referee picking up Drake. Radon turns around to leave, or so they thought. He picks up a nearby folded steel chair and rushes towards TYO’s direction. He clocks him over the head with a chair and TYO falls down like a ton of bricks. Radon levels the downed TYO with a couple more chairshots before the referees block his path. The camera pans over to the face of TYO, now covered in crimson after the vicious assault.
Referee: “He’s bleeding, call the EMTs!”
Radon, satisfied with his work drops the chair and walks away. Seconds later, we see EMTs storm into the area to check on the downed Sandy Drake. We go back to the ringside area with the two announcers.
RK: “Man, talk about…bruuuuutal, JR.”
JR: “That was a heinous assault by Andrew Radon. I’m having word from backstage that the EMTs have evacuated Sandy Drake from the arena. He was profusely bleeding on his forehead after that hard shot on the head by that steel chair.”
RK: “All I’m wondering is, how’d that chair get into the empty hallway…”
Before Randal could say anything (again), we see Terri Hotbody II in the ring with a microphone to signal the first match of the night.
THII: “The following match is scheduled for one fall and it is for the X-WCW Television Championship!!!”
RK: “….I guess it’s time for our first match.”
X-WCW TV Championship
Rayne Bloodstone vs. Mike Magnus ©
“Whisper” by Evanasance plays in the background as Rayne Bloodstone enters the ringside area. They give her a mixed reaction as she goes down the rampway
THII: Introducing first, from Japan, RAYNE BLOODSTONE!”
RK: “I gotta say this is something new for me in recent memory. A man taking on a woman for the X-WCW TV title. When was the last time that happened?”
JR: “It was on Warzone 24. It was the same set of opponents, King. Magnus took on Rayne for the TV title and retained it.”
RK: “Well excuse me, James. I guess you’re a living X-WCW encyclopedia. Nonetheless, that’s really a long time ago.”
JR: “I do say that this is somewhat similar to the last event we had which was Warzone. Rayne Bloodstone competed against 3 men in the four-way match for the double 8 tournament and in the second chance battle royale, both of which she lost. However, tonight, she has a second chance at a titleshot. This time, it will be to become the next X-WCW Television champion.”
Rayne is in the ring and heads over to the nearby corner. She climbs up and surveys the arena with her stoic facial expression before she jumps down and prepares herself for her opponent. “To the pain” by Nonpoint hits and Mike Magnus enters the ringside area with the TV title on his shoulder.
THII: “And her opponent, hailing from Baltimore MD, he stands at 5’10 and weighs in at 217 lbs. He is the current X-WCW Television Champion…MIKE MAGNUS!!!”
Mike Magnus walks down the aisle as the fans start to cheer for the TV champion.
JR: “Mike Magnus, the current X-WCW TV champion, has his hands full tonight. As I told you folks at home, he already faced Rayne before for this title, and won. However, will the same outcome be seen tonight?”
RK: “Anything can happen, JR. If Rayne plays her cards right, she might win it from Mike. If Magnus gets the upper hand, he retains. I think it’s simple as that.”
Mike Magnus climbs up the steel steps and heads to the top turnbuckle to pose with the belt, for the fans. He slowly comes down from the corner and hands his belt to the referee. Both competitors look at the other while they await for the match to commence.
JR: “The intensity is filling up the arena, King. This is going to be one interesting match.”
The bell rings and both competitors approach the middle of the ring. Rayne and Mike lock up and it’s the challenger who comes away with an arm lock to the TV champion. Rayne tweaks the arm of Mike Magnus before she whips him into the ropes. Mike Magnus comes off the ropes and takes down Rayne with a running shoulder block. He bounces off the ropes again but this time, he is taken down with a deep armdrag on his way back.
JR: “Armdrag by Rayne Bloodstone and she has the champion down to the mat. Rayne keeps the arm of Mike Magnus on her grasps and she locks on an armbar. Mike Magnus gets to his feet and he tries to fight off the hold.”
Magnus reaches for his arm and slowly reverses the hold. Rayne Bloodstone tries to get out of the hold by kicking Mike in the gut. After the third kick, Mike Magnus lets go and Rayne Bloodstone tries to suplex her opponent. Mike blocks the attempt and delivers his own suplex on the challenger. He waits for Rayne Bloodstone to get up before Mike backs her into the corner. He delivers some kicks to the stomach of Rayne Bloodstone before he snapmares her off the corner.
JR: “Mike Magnus with the snapmare to Rayne Bloodstone and he follows it up with a hard kick to her back.”
RK: “OUCH! For cripes sakes, regardless of him being your opponent, that’s a woman Mike!”
JR: “She knew what she was getting int-”
RK: “Yeah right! That still doesn’t excuse Mike from this kind of behavior!”
Mike Magnus picks up Rayne Bloodstone and sends her to the ropes. Rayne catches Mike Magnus with a clothesline on her way back. Magnus gets to his feet and gets hit by a flurry of kicks from Rayne Bloodstone. Rayne delivers a spinning heel kick and it hits Magnus right on the jaw. Magnus tumbles to the mat while Bloodstone heads for the corner.
RK: “Wow! That kick might force Mike to eat through a straw in the next few weeks.”
Rayne Bloodstone is perched on the top rope and waits for Mike Magnus to get up. Rayne launches herself off the corner with a flying crossbody block on the TV champion. She lands it and pins the champion.
JR: “The pinfall is made: 1-2-Kickout”
RK: “She soared up high and connected but I think that’s not good enough to be the new TV champ.”
Rayne Bloodstone picks up Mike Magnus and delivers a kick to the gut. She sets him up for a DDT but Mike Magnus rolls her up in a small package.
RK: “Wow, rollup by Magnus: 1-2-kickout!”
Both competitors get to their feet and Mike delivers a clothesline to take down Rayne. He scouts a recovering Rayne Bloodstone and delivers a forearm smash on the face. With Rayne stunned, Mike Magnus bounces off the ropes and delivers a spinning elbow smash that sends the challenger down.
JR: “Mike Magnus sends Rayne down with the elbow smash.”
RK: “The TV Champion is feeling something froggy now, JR.”
Magnus heads over to the corner and climbs up to the top turnbuckle. Rayne Bloodstone gets to her feet and scouts Mike Magnus on the corner. Magnus turns around to face his opponent, but Rayne Bloodstone is there to deliver a hard punch to the gut. Magnus is crotched on the corner while Rayne climbs up the corner. She delivers a few hard shots to the face of her opponent before she sets Magnus up for a frankensteiner.
RK: “Rayne Bloodstone sets him up for something here and…wow! Rayne just delivered a hurracanrana off the top turnbuckle on Magnus.”
Both competitors are on the mat after the move. Rayne is quickly on her feet and waits for Mike Magnus to get up on his feet and approaches him. Mike sees her and hits her right on the face with his forearm. Mike reels in a stunned Rayne and delivers a hard knee to the gut before he follows it up with an uppercut. Rayne Bloodstone backs up on the ropes where Mike charges at her. Bloodstone sees Mike charging towards her direction and trips him with a drop toehold. Mike Magnus’ throat bounces off the top rope and he stumbles backwards. Rayne Bloodstone sees the opening and delivers a hard kick to the side of the TV champ’s head.
RK: “Man, this girl knows how to kick hard! Mike Magnus just tumbled down to the mat with that kick.”
Mike Magnus slowly gets to his feet and is visibly groggy from the kick.
JR: “Rayne Bloodstone sees her opening now. She charges at Mike Magnus and levels him with a shinning wizard kick!”
RK: “Finisher by Bloodstone! If this works, I think she has the TV title for sure!”
Mike Magnus is leveled by the finishing maneuver of Rayne Bloodstone and she pins him.
RK: “Here’s the cover…one..two…and thr…NO! Mike Magnus gets a shoulder up!”
Rayne is also in a state of disbelief as Mike Magnus manages to kick out of her move. Mike Magnus gets to his feet slowly and Rayne Bloodstone bounces off the ropes. She delivers a clothesline that sends her opponent down to the mat. Magnus slowly gets to his feet again, and blocks a kick from Rayne, only to get hit by an enzugiri from the challenger. Mike Magnus falls on his knees and Rayne Bloodstone bounces off the ropes yet again to deliver the Storm’s wrath.
RK: “Another try for Storm’s wrath and it connects! So JR, do you think this will do Mike Magnus in?”
JR: “Well let’s see now, he’s down and Rayne Bloodstone does NOT pin him. I wonder what she’s going to do now.”
Rayne Bloodstone heads over to the top rope and launches herself there with a shooting star press into a leg drop maneuver on Mike Magnus.
RK: “Holy smokes! That was an amazing move from Rayne Bloodstone!”
JR: “Bloodstone with that legdrop from the top rope, pins Mike Magnus: 1-2-3! It’s over, we got a new X-WCW Television Champion!”
The bell rings as the referee raises Rayne Bloodstone’s arm in the air.
THII: “The winner and NEW X-WCW Television Champion: RAYNE BLOODSTONE!!!”
Her music hits as she is handed the X-WCW TV title by the referee. She raises the belt in the air, but her celebration is cut short as Aries jumps from the barricade and hits the ring.
JR: “Rayne Bloodstone is the new cha-wait a minute, that’s Aries!”
RK: “The bitch of Rocky Davis? Oh yeah that is her and…that forearm to the back of Rayne’s head is gonna leave the new TV champ reeling! Ouch!”
Rayne Bloodstone falls down on the mat and Aries continues to rain the boots on the newly christened TV champion.
RK: “Oh goodness she’s stomping a mudhole right on Rayne Bloodstone.”
JR: “The rivalry between these ladies have been brewing. Well folks we gotta go to a commercial break. Stay tuned, more doubleshot coming your way!”
Doubleshot goes to a commercial break as the referee tries to pull Aries away from Rayne Bloodstone.

*****************************
Doubleshot comes back from a commercial break and we see Justin Sane inside the ring. Sane is seen holding a mic while clutching the X-WCW Xtreme title belt over his shoulder.
JR: “Welcome back ladies and gentlemen to Doubleshot! During out commercial break, Justin Sane made his way to the ring and it seems like he has something to say here right now.”
RK: “Way to state the obvious, JR. He has the mic, he’s in the ring, of course something’s about to go down here.”
The camera does a closeup of Justin Sane who paces around the ring with the mic.
JS: “Y’know, tonight I realized something. As I was walking around backstage, I noticed the current lineup for Bloodbath 4. The problem is, it seems like my name wasn’t on that board. That’s just wrong.”
The crowd boos about that revelation. A frown is momentarily etched on Sane’s face before it turns into a grin.
JS: “So with that realization, I’m here to offer anyone at the backstage area a shot against me for the event.”
The fans have a cheap pop until they hear “Personal Jesus” blaring through the PA systems. The fans start to boo as Y3B comes out to the ringside area.
JS: “Hey what the hell is goin-”
Y3B, with a mic of his own cuts off Sane.
Y3B: “Hey jackass, you wanna fight? Because from the backstage area I can’t help but hear you crying for daddy since you have no match on the Pay-Per-View. Guess what Sane, neither do I.”
Y3B marches down the rampway as the fans chant ‘asshole’ on his way down. With Y3B is the AWF IC title strapped on his waist. Justin Sane stares a hole at Y3B as he slowly enters the ring.
RK: “Oh great, it’s one of those AWF jerks.”
Y3B goes in front of Sane and laughs at him.
Y3B: “So I got an idea, how about I take you on in a match for Bloodbath?”
Justin Sane looks at Y3B and grins.
JS: “Now that’s more like it. So it’ll be you and me for this title right here, at Bloodbath.”
Sane raises his X-WCW Xtreme title proudly into the air as the fans cheer. Y3B raises an eyebrow and laughs again at Sane.
Y3B: “Justin, Justin…Justin. Now what on God’s green earth made you think I want that title of yours? That is beneath me. In the hierarchy of X-WCW belts, that’s on the lowest of the lows.”
Sane looks a bit ticked off from Y3B’s comments before he grabs Sane by the collar.
JS: “Lowest of lows, let’s see if you can say that again…RIGHT…NOW!”
Sane sneers at Y3B, who would later shove Sane away. Both men go nose-to-nose after the momentary distance with each other. However, they look at the stage once “No Chance” by Dope plays nad Christopher Back arrives at ringside.
CB: “You two better calm down in that ring right now or I’ll be forced to call security.”
Sane and Y3B step back from each other and draw their attention to Christopher Back. CB, who’s standing on the stage with a mic, starts to address them and the audience.
CB: “You know what I’ve been hearing that neither of you have a match, well I got a solution. Myles, don’t worry about the match being just for the X-WCW Xtreme Title, because it won’t be. It’ll be for TWO titles. It’ll be a Doubleshot Challenge, 2 matches in one match. The first fall, we will have Justin Sane defend his Xtreme Title in a Hellfire match. On the second fall, Myles, you’ll defend your IC title in a steel chain match. Now how does that sound to you both?”
Sane and Y3B look at each other before they speak
JS: “Good enough for me, boss.”
Y3B: “If it gives me an opportunity to kick this runt’s ass, hell yes.”
CB: “Then it’s settled. Speaking of things that need to be settled, I’ve seen what happened in the first match here tonight. So I’m making this match for Bloodbath 4: Rayne Bloodstone vs Aries for the X-WCW Television title. It’ll be in a catfight match!”
RK: “CATFIGHTS?! I LOVE CATFIGHTS!”
JR: “Take it easy on yourself King, the match was just made, it’s not yet happening.”
RK: “Oh boy, Rayne and Aries plus a catfight? Things look good on that match.”
CB looks at the ringside area where the fans are cheering as the matches were announced.
CB: “Now that we got those matches for Bloodbath 4, hope you two can leave my ring as soon as possible.”
CB’s music hits as he makes his way backstage. Back inside the ring Justin Sane and Y3B stare down each other yet again as Doubleshot goes to another unexpected commercial break.
Winning team gains the numbers advantage in XWG
Xtreme Cage Match
StarStorm vs. RNR
Doubleshot comes back from the commercial break and we see a steel structure surrounding the X-WCW wrestling ring. Inside of this structure there are a number of weapons scattered across outside the ring, most notably on the steel links of the cage. The cameras go over to the announce table with JR and RK.
RK: “Welcome back to Doubleshot!”
JR: “During the commercial break, the ring crew has set up this Xtreme Cage for the next match.”
RK: “It’ll be two tag teams facing each other inside that structure, RNR vs Starstorm.”
JR: “Those two teams have faced each other in the past, but tonight, they have higher stakes as the winner will give the team for the Xtreme Wargames the numbers advantage.”
RK: “Numbers advantage you say?”
JR: “The terms of this numbers advantage is not yet known, King, but all I know is…it’ll be one big factor and whoever gets it I’m betting will have the odds stacked heavily on their favor.”
The bell rings as the camera zooms out to show Terri Hotbody II standing near the announce table with the microphone.
THII: “The following match is an Xtreme Cage Match where the winning team gives the numbers advantage to their respective group in the Wargames match at Bloodbath 4!!!”
RK: “That was way too long, JR.”
JR: “Oh, keep quiet, King!”
The footage at ringside goes onto wide-screen mode while the drumbeats start to play in the PA system. Soon enough, the guitar riffs of Suede’s “Fimstar” fills in as the strobe lights are also happening at the ringside. The duo of R.E. Rage and Brett Rayne enters the ringside area to a loud round of boos.
Filmstar, propping up the bar, driving in a car, it looks so easy,
Filmstar, propping up the bar, driving in a car tonight,
Filmstar, giving it class, living it fast, it looks so easy,
Filmstar, giving it class, living it fast tonight
The ring crew arrives to roll a red carpet down the ramp. As the carpet is eventually completed, the two men walk down the ramp while the crowd boos at them.
THII: “Introducing first, Revolution members R.E. Rage and Brett Rayne…R-N-R!!!”
JR: “R.E. Rage and Brett Rayne, comprise the team of RNR. If there’s one thing I can say to you King, these two can be one of the most arrogant X-WCW tag teams we’ve ever had.”
RK: “Call them cocky, arrogant, or whatever JR. I think RNR may very well be one of the top tag teams of the X-WCW if not THE top tag team of this federation.”
RNR enters the cage and they pose for the fans who continue to boo them. “Enemy” by Fozzy starts to play as Raven Darkstorm and Alec Lightstar make their appearance at ringside. The fans cheer for them while they march down the ramp.
THII: “And their opponents, representing the nTo. They are the team of Alec Lightstar and Raven Darkstorm: STARSTORM!!!”
Inside the Xtreme Cage, the duo of Rayne and Rage look at their opponents.
JR: “Lightstar and Darkstorm, the duo known as Starstorm, is one of the premier X-WCW tag teams. I am certain, when the bell rings, these two teams will put on one helluva match.”
RK: “I know how you feel, JR. These two teams not only have a storied career in the X-WCW but they also have a storied past with each other.”
Starstorm enters the steel structure and their music slowly fades out from ringside. The fans are buzzing with excitement, or maybe just 70% of them but that’s still a big portion nonetheless, as the match begins by the ringing of the bell. R.E. Rage and Raven Darkstorm trade punches on one side of the ring while we see Brett Rayne and Alec Lightstar lock up on the other.
RK: “The match has begun and all four men are inside that ring!”
Raven Darkstorm delivers a nice number of punches that keep Rage at bay before he sends the RNR member off the ring with a vicious clothesline. On the other side, Brett Rayne attempted a clothesline on Alec but he misses it. Rayne turns around and Lightstar levels him with a hard dropkick right on the face. Brett Rayne tumbles backwards to the nearby ropes where Lightstar clotheslines him to the outside as well. Both RNR members are outside of the ring and they try to regroup while Starstorm are riling up the crowd from the inside.
JR: “The fans are on their feet for Starstorm, King!”
RK: “Wow, they…actually are. For Starstorm? That’s amazing.”
R.E. Rage and Brett Rayne talk to each other momentarily before they notice some stray weapons around them. They grin to themselves and pick one weapon for their own. Starstorm notices this and wearily head to the center of the ring.
JR: “Well it looks like RNR found the perks of being in an Xtreme Cage match, there are weapons everywhere!”
RK: “Everywhere but inside the ring. No matter how riled up Starstorm gets these fans going, it won’t save them from what’s about to happen.”
JR: “R.E. Rage has steel chair with him, while ’The Playboy’ Brett Rayne is holding a cookie tray.”
R.E. Rage and Brett Rayne go to opposite sides of the ring, brandishing their respective weapons. Raven Darkstorm and Alec Lightstar, standing back to back, are waiting for RNR to get back into the ring. Both RNR members slide into the ring with the Starstorm members stomping down on them for their return. Raven Darkstorm picks up R.E. Rage, but Rage delivers a kick to his opponent’s gut. Rage picks up the chair and levels Raven over the head with it.
RK: “What a chairshot! Raven falls down like a ton of bricks after that one, JR.”
On the other side, Alec Lightstar got a better time waylaying Brett Rayne. He backs Brett into a corner and delivers some knife edged chops across The Playboy’s chest. Lightstar tries to do something to Rayne as he sets him up on the top turnbuckle. He delivers more punches to the face of his opponent on his way up the corner.
JR: “Alec Lightstar seems to be going for something here, King. A superplex maybe.”
RK: “It does look like a superplex, JR. Alec is hooking Brett Rayne up from that corner and…oh goodness! R.E. Rage just blasted Alec on the back with that chair!”
Alec gets hit by the chair by R.E. Rage and Brett Rayne shoves him off the corner. Lightstar lands on his back and Rage stomps down on him for a good while. Brett Rayne stands up on the top rope before he delivers a playboy elbow drop on Lightstar. Raven Darkstorm gets to his feet and sees RNR double teaming on his partner. Darkstorm goes over to Rage and delivers a forearm to the back of his head. He spins Rage around and rains down a number of right hands to his face before he takes him down with a charging forearm smash. Brett Rayne tries to attack Darkstorm but is met by the same fate of Rage.
RK: “Raven Darkstorm is really getting fired up early on in this match. I guess the chairshot woke him up.”
Raven Darkstorm helps Alec get to his feet before he picks up the steel chair. R.E. Rage gingerly gets to his feet, and is hit on the back with the steel chair. Raven Darkstorm, steel chair in hand, waits for Brett Rayne to get to a vertical base before ramming the chair straight to The Playboy’s gut. Brett Rayne falls down to the mat and groans in agony as Raven Darkstorm lifts the chair into the air to the approval of the audience.
JR: “Raven Darkstorm is rallying the crowd to his side with those chair shots to RNR!”
RK: “With that cookie tray, I’m willing to wager Alec would do the same thing now.”
R.E. Rage crawls towards the ropes before he rolls out of the ring. Alec Lightstar approaches a recovering Brett Rayne and slams the cookie tray over his head. Brett Rayne gets leveled by the tray and spins around. Unfortunately, he walks over to a kick in the midsection by Raven Darkstorm. RD and AL grab Brett Rayne and send him towards the corner. Brett Rayne hits the corner and Alec Lightstar grabs the chair and sets it up a few feet in front of his opponent. Raven Darkstorm charges towards the corner and hops off from the chair to deliver a corner clothesline to Brett Rayne. He holds Brett Rayne in a side headlock before he runs off and bulldogs Rayne face-first onto the steel chair.
RK: “OH C’MON! He’s ruining the good looking mug of Brett Rayne!”
JR: “Raven Darkstorm and Alec Lightstar are taking the advantage early on in this-BAH GAWD! R.E. Rage just smacked Alec Lightstar with that stop sign!”
RK: “He was resting a few good seconds outside that ring, bad move from Starstorm. They should’ve looked for Rage when he was missing.”
Raven Darkstorm gets up from the bulldog but it’s too late as Rage smacks him behind the head with the same stop sign he used on Lightstar. R.E. Rage hauls Raven to his feet and delivers a number of punches to his opponent’s face. He drags him to the nearby side of the ring before he throws him face first onto the steel railing of the cage.
JR: “Rage just tossed Darkstorm to the steel structure of the cage!”
RK: “Rage is just introducing Raven to the steel, JR. HAHAHAHA!”
Raven crumples to the outside of the ring. R.E. Rage stares a hole at the recovering Alec Lightstar before he charges at him and takes him down with a running knee lift to the side of his face. Alec Lightstar falls to the mat again and clutches his head in pain. At the same time, we see Brett Rayne on his feet. R.E. Rage and Brett Rayne regroup on one corner while they survey the damage done inside the ring.
RK: “The Playboy is up, but it’s evident he is still shaking the cobwebs from that bulldog to the steel chair delivered to him by Raven Darkstorm.”
Brett Rayne and R.E. Rage swoop into Alec Lightstar and back him in a nearby corner. They stomp a mudhole onto Lightstar down at the ring corner for a good few seconds.
RK: “Lightstar, down in that corner while RNR are…c’mon JR...say it…”
JR: “Stomping a mudhole. There, happy?”
RK: “Pretty much, yes.”
Outside the ring, we see Raven Darkstorm slowly getting to his feet and leaning on the ring apron. The cameras cut back inside the ring where Alec Lightstar is slumped down on the corner while R.E. Rage and Brett Rayne are a few feet away from the corner. Brett Rayne charges at the corner with a running dropkick that hits Alec Lightstar. R.E. Rage follows suit and instead delivers a running knee smash to the face of his opponent.
JR: “RNR is doing a number on Alec Lightstar on that corner, King.”
RK: “You said it, JR. Raven better get in there to even things out. Well, if he’s good enough to get in the ring that is.”
Brett Rayne is seen favoring his head before he deliver the playboy kick to a recovering Alec Lightstar. He hits the pose as well to the ire of the fans before he goes for the cover. While the referee goes over for the count, we see Raven Darkstorm rolling into the ring from the other side, outside of Brett or Rage’s view.
RK: “Playboy kick by Brett Rayne! Brett goes for the early cover: 1-2-and Raven Darkstorm just got in the ring to break the pinfall!”
R.E. Rage tries to attack Raven Darkstorm, but RD delivers some hard hitting punches to the face of the RNR member. Raven punches Rage to the gut before he delivers a dropkick to send him down. RD turns around and gets a kick to the gut from Brett Rayne. Brett Rayne follows up with a couple of chops to the chest but Alec Lightstar attacks from behind. Starstorm outnumber the lone RNR member momentarily before R.E. Rage joins in the fray. Rage pulls Darkstorm aside to deliver some punches to the face of his opponent before RD fights back with punches of his own. Raven delivers a punch to the stomach of Rage before he takes him down with a clothesline. Rage gets back to his feet and is met by the same fate, a second clothesline. He gets back up the third time and ducks the next clothesline attempt of Raven Darkstorm before he plants him down the mat with a DDT.
RK: “Rage may get fooled twice, but not three straight times as he just showed Raven Darkstorm in that exchange.”
JR: “On the other side of the ring, Alec Lightstar has Brett Rayne pinned on the corner and starts hitting him with some knife edged chops to the chest.”
After the third chop to the chest, Alec Lightstar delivers a couple of kicks to the midsection of Brett Rayne. Rayne fights back with some kicks of his own. However, Brett’s offense is stopped by a knee smash right on the gut. Brett Rayne is prone on the corner and this gives AL the time to head over to spring himself up from the second rope and deliver a flying kick to the side of Brett Rayne’s head.
RK: “Springboard enzugiri was delivered by Alec Lightstar on Brett Rayne. Smart move by AL.”
JR: “You are right, King. Brett Rayne already suffered a severe headache with the bulldog of Raven Darkstorm not so long ago.”
RK: “Yeah, just like 2 minutes or something.”
Brett Rayne hits the mat and holds his head in pain. On the other side of the ring, we see Raven Darkstorn stuck on a corner as well with R.E. Rage hitting him on the gut with numerous punches and kicks. He chokes RD on the corner with his boot for a few good seconds before Alec Lightstar saves his partner and pulls Rage away. AL delivers some forearm smashes to the face of Rage before he lines him up for a hurracanrana. Rage goes down and AL bounces off the ropes to deliver a running leg drop across the neck of his opponent. On their respective corners, we see Raven Darkstorm and Brett Rayne getting to their feet.
JR: “High risk legdrop delivered there by Alec Lightstar, BAH GAWD!”
RK: “Look JR, the two other competitors are slowly gaining their footing here.”
Raven Darkstorm and Alec Lightstar pick up R.E. Rage and whip him across the ropes. They try to deliver a double clothesline but Rage ducks down to avoid it. At the same time as Rage’s duck down move, Brett Rayne heads over to the center of the ring where the action is. Rage bounces back on the ropes and he takes down Alec Lightstar with a thez press while Brett Rayne bounces of the ropes and delivers a running bulldog on RD from behind.
RK: “And with just a split second, JR, RNR is back in this match. Talk about a comeback for the ages! WOOO!”
JR: “It was an impressive reversal of the tide, King. However, I won’t count out Starstorm yet.”
Rage pounds away on the face of AL while on the other side, we see Brett Rayne picking up RD. RD shoves Brett Rayne onto the ropes. BR bounces off the ropes and is met by a boot to the gut by RD and then a quick smack over the head with the cookie tray.
RK: “Did…that cookie tray just reappeared outta nowhere?”
JR: “I think it’s been on the mat for a good while, King. While Brett Rayne bounced off the ropes we saw Raven pick it up and then he did the kick and smack combo.”
RK: “I think I need to check the doctor next week, my eyes are messing up. That, or Raven is just too damn fast sometimes.”
Rayne gets hit yet again by the cookie tray and he falls down on one knee. Raven, cookie tray in hand, delivers a vicious swing to the face of Brett Rayne and the shot echoes throughout the arena. Brett Rayne crumples down the mat and RD has a smirk to his face, feeling he did a good job on that exchange. On the other side of the ring, R.E. Rage already has Alec Lightstorm hanging on the bottom rope as he chokes him yet again. Rage lets go and pulls his opponent up on his feet. He delivers a European uppercut and Alec is leaning on the ropes. Rage clotheslines Alec over the top rope and he falls to the outside.
JR: “R.E. Rage, with the clothesline, just sent his opponent to the outside of the ring.”
RK: “Rage slides out of the ring, JR. I think Rage isn’t done yet here with Alec.”
R.E. Rage grabs a hold of Alec and slams him face first onto the apron a number of times. AL is on spaghetti legs and this buys Rage some time to pick up an item below the apron. He pulls out a baseball bat and he swings it to the stomach of AL. Lightstar falls down on his knees before Rage delivers a boot to the face that sends his opponent down. Back inside the ring, RD drags Brett Rayne to the corner and places the steel chair on his face.
RK: “Oh boy. I think RD has some evil intentions with that chair, JR.”
JR: “I dread the thought, King, but it does look that way. Outside the ring, R.E. Rage just keeps swinging away with the bat against Alec Lightstar. Oh c’mon now that just has to stop.”
Raven heads over to the opposite corner, located other side of the ring. He tries to charge towards Brett’s corner but he gets tripped from behind by R.E. Rage. Rage drags Raven to the outside of the ring and delivers some punches to the face. Raven Fights back, but Rage stops his attempts with an eye rake. Raven turns around and favors his face before Rage reels him in for an inverted DDT. Rage turns around and sees Alec Lightstar pulling himself up with the chain link fence of the cage. R.E. Rage gabs AL by the hair and drags Lightstar’s face around the chain-link fence. Screams of agony from AL is heard until Rage drops him down.
JR: “R.E. Rage is continuing the onslaught of Starstorm with that.”
RK: “I don’t know about you, JR but there seems to be a RAGE…in a CAGE! Hah-hahahaha!”
JR: “I find it strange why you actually get some humorous puns out of this situation.”
Rage takes his attention back to the recovering Raven Darkstorm and delivers a low blow to the disgust of the crowd. He grabs RD and rolls him back into the ring. Rage remains inside the outside and pulls out a wooden table. The fans start to chant “we want tables” as R.E. Rage slides the table into the ring.
RK: “Rage just got out the wood work, JR. This is going to get a bit interesting.”
Back inside the ring, Brett Rayne pulls himself up from the corner and spots RD. He tries to shake off the cobwebs as he approaches his opponent. He pulls up Raven Darkstorm and has him in a sleeper hold. Seconds later, with the hold locked on, he slams RD to the mat. The back of Raven’s head gets hit by the maneuver and he seems to favor it while Brett Rayne goes for the cover.
JR: “Pinfall has been made: 1…2…and a kickout by Raven Darkstorm.”
RK: “The match goes on, JR, but for how long?”
R.E. Rage tries to get back into the ring by climbing up the apron, but Alec Lightstar is there to drag him by the foot. Lightstar delivers some hard forearms to the face of Rage before grabbing him by the head and ramming him face-first to the side of the cage. He goes for another one, but Rage uses his feet to stop the attempt and deliver a back elbow to the face of Alec. He grabs AL by the back of his trunks before he tosses him right onto the side of the cage.
RK: “Lightstar tried to have another go at Rage, but the RNR member just tossed him to the side of the cage for his troubles.”
Inside the ring, Brett Rayne hits RD in the gut with a knee strike. R.E. Rage slides into the ring and the two RNR members deliver their signature move: The Sweeping Beauty.
JR: “Sweeping beauty by RNR!”
RK: “The spinning heel kick-leg sweep combo by RNR is just like clockwork, JR!”
RD falls down and RNR set up the wooden table near the corner. They pull up Raven Darkstorm and place him on top of the table. Alec Lightstar re-enters the ring and attacks R.E. Rage from behind. Brett Rayne goes over to AL and delivers a low blow to take him down.
JR: “LOW BLOW! LOW BLOW!!”
RK: “I get it, JR, it’s a low blow!”
Alec is sent to the corner by Brett Rayne and The Playboy follows up with a corner splash. R.E. Rage, meantime, delivers some punches to keep Raven on the table. Rage goes over to the corner with Brett Rayne and they sends the boots on Alec Lightstar. RNR sets Lightstar on the top rope and both men hook him up for a superplex. A few feet behind them, we see Raven Darkstorm on top of the table.
RK: “I think I know what RNR is going for here, JR. We’ll get some wood soon enough! HAHAHA!”
JR: “Rage and Rayne have Alec Lightstar hooked and they go for the superplex. BAH GAWD! They just superplexed Alec Lightstar from the top rope and he crashes down on Raven Darkstorm and the wooden table!!!”
The table breaks in two due to the weight and both Starstorm members are laid out. The fans chant “holy shit” while R.E. Rage rolls Alec over and hooks his leg for the count.
JR: “The pin is made: 1-2-3!!”
RK: “RNR WINS THIS!”
The bell rings signaling the end of the match and the cameras pan over the laid out team of Starstorm.
THII: “The winners of this match as a result of pinfall…RNR!!!”
“Filmstar” by Suede blares through the ringside area as R.E. Rage and Brett Rayne get their arms raised in victory.
JR: “An impressive showing by both teams here inside the cage, King.”
RK: “You’re right, JR. However, RNR turned out to be victorious.”
JR: “As much as I don’t like the outcome of this, they were the two men who got out of this brutal match alive.”
RK: “I’d like to say they did it in one piece but I’m betting Brett Rayne’s head won’t forget tonight’s beating.”
The camera pans over to the rampway with R.E. Rage and Brett Rayne heading to the backstage. We see Brett Rayne favoring his head a bit as he trails his partner back to the rampway.
JR: “Stay tuned folks, more Doubleshot after the commercial break!”
Doubleshot heads to a commercial break as we see Starstorm trying to recover inside the ring.

Backstage
X-WCW comes from a commercial break and we see Karl Baller walking through the corridors backstage. He stops and looks out of the camera’s shot. Seconds later, it zooms out to show D-Extreme standing in front of KB with a beer can.
D-Ex: “Hey Karl, nice to see you here. Hmmm…sucks that you and your team got to be the first one out of the match.”
KB: “Yeah, well I guess that’s how the ball rolls huh?”
KB gives a narrow look at D-Ex, who continues to drink his beer can.
KB: “But y’know what D, atleast me and my brotha put up a fight. First one out don’t mean shit to me. What matters is we did everything we can to try and win. How ‘bout you? You and your buddy Chris just turned tail and let the other team win the damn thing. There’s a difference in just planning to let a team win, and throwing away a match. Y’know what I mean dawg?”
D-Ex laughs a bit and takes another sip of his can before he tries to calk KB down.
D-Ex: “Hey, take it easy, buddy.”
KB looks a little irritated while he faces D-Ex.
KB: “Take it easy? Easy for you to say, D. I’m not the one here who throws their damn matches away. I sure as hell don’t wanna see you and your team throw another match away, especially not the war games match. You know as much as anyone here know…I don’t like them Revolution bitches.”
D-Ex nods
D-Ex: “Oh you can be sure that we won’t throw that away. The only thing we’ll throw, are their bodies, around the match.”
D-Ex chuckles before he looks at KB a bit seriously.
D-Ex: “But, now that you mention it, I’m glad to see you here. Karl, we need to talk.”
KB: “Shoot, I’m right here, get to talkin big guy.”
D-Ex: “N-no-no-no. Not here, Karl. This is something a bit private. Meet me up in the locker room later, I’m just going to finish a six pack.”
D-Extreme walks past KB, who just has his eyes follow the nTo member. The cameras switch over to show KB’s confused yet curious look. Slowly, the scene fades to black and we head over to the ringside area.
Ringside
The cameras go back to ringside where we see Andrew Radon standing inside the ring. Radon is looking way different from the last time we saw him in the show as he is not wearing a dark blue suit with the X-WCW US title perched on his shoulder. The change of outfit, however, does not change the fans perception of the United States Champion as they boo heavily upon him.
AR: “Now you saw me a few minutes ago backstage and this is the kind of reception I get?”
The fans boo louder and start to chant “asshole” at Radon. AR sneers at the fans and paces around the ring before he speaks yet again.
AR: “You know what, it’s so hard to please you people. I took out Sandy Drake backstage to show you all how bad ass I am. I beat that loser into a bloody pulp to show you that I am the greatest X-WCW US champion in this company’s history!...Yet now…I still get booed.”
AR pulls down his mic and surveys the audience. Slowly he pulls up his mic to address the masses.
AR: “I guess it just goes to show you are all ignorant of who is the best around here in the X-WCW and that is…”
He gets cut off by Saliva’s “Superstar” hitting the PA Systems and Otacon comes out to a round of cheers. He stays on the stage with a mic of his own and he looks at the ring. Inside, Radon looks annoyed at Otacon stealing the moment from him.
OC: “Now look who’s in the ring, Andrew Radon. Hey Andrew, how are ya buddy? Wanna know something interesting? These people here are right to boo you since not only you insult them but you insult their intelligence. You claim you did it for them? That cowardly assault on TYO earlier was nothing but for your own. Radon, in my view you just took the easy way out of defending your US title against Drake. To me, that can’t stand.”
Radon leans near the ropes and glares at Otacon.
AR: “Oh, so it doesn’t huh? So tell me oh great ‘con man’, what are you going to do about it?”
Otacon smirks while he stares at Radon and the ring.
RK: “Man I don’t like the looks of this, JR. Otacon has one huge smirk on his face. I think it could mean…well...ANYTHING!”
JR: “Just hush up, King. I’m sure he’ll tell it to us eventually.”
Otacon points at himself before he finally speaks his piece again.
OC: “Oh, what am I going to do about it Andrew? I’m so glad that you asked me!”
Otacon beams a smile at Radon while he starts pacing on the stage.
OC: “You see I went to my ‘good friend’ Mr. Back a few minutes ago and filed in a match request at Bloodbath 4. Andrew, this is the part where I have to give you a good news/bad news situation. The good news is, he approved my request…yay!”
Otacon does a small applause to himself on stage before the camera pans over to a not so amused Andrew Radon. We then see a shot of Otacon yet again on stage while he continues to tell Radon the news.
OC: “The BAD NEWS is…I’ll be replacing TYO on Bloodbath 4!!!”
The fans explode and cheer loudly at the announcement. Inside the ring, Radon is livid and he can’t believe the news. He starts to throw a tantrum by kicking the nearby ring ropes and mouthing off some expletives at Otacon on the stage.
OC: “You heard that right. It’s you and me for that title!”
Otacon points at Radon’s belt while a section of the fans chant “CJ”. Otacon laughs and pulls up the mic again.
OC: “Ok…ok…so I lie. It’s you, CJ Baller…and ME…for that title!”
The fans erupt into cheers yet again while Otacon has a satisfied smirk on his face.
JR: “Well folks, with TYO on the injured list it seems that Otacon will be the replacing him for the match. So for the US title match it’ll be CJ Baller vs Otacon vs the champion Andrew Radon.”
RK: “The tables have just been stacked a tad bit higher against Radon. Otacon and Radon have fought each other before, JR, and it seems like the rivalry will be relived once again.”
JR: “Stay tuned folks, there will be more Doubleshot right after the break.”
Otacon’s music hits the speakers as Doubleshot goes to a commercial break.
X-WCW Studios
We go back from the commercial break and we see Cole Ryan at the local X-WCW studios where he is standing near a flat screen TV featuring the X-WCW Bloodbath 4 poster.
CR: “Welcome back ladies and gentlemen, Cole Ryan here at the X-WCW Studios reminding you that Bloodbath is just a few weeks away. I’m here right now to give you a rundown of the complete event.”

CR: “One of the two main events for Bloodbath 4 showcases two teams that have been warring for years. The nTo has been an entity to be reckoned with in the X-WCW since the company’s birth. The Revolution, on the other hand has been wreacking havoc for the past 5 years, even going so far as to taking out both D-Extreme and Christopher Back at separate occasions. Now that D-Extreme and Chris Back have returned, will the nTo get the upper hand in this blood feud, or will Bonito and company defeat the nTo and keep his Global Heavyweight Championsip. Remember, two things are at stake in this match. First, the X-WCW Global Heavyweight Championship. If the nTo wins the match, Christopher Back wins it, but if they lose, Bonito retains. The television shows the logo yet again before we go back to the studios with Cole Ryan.
CR: “Bloodbath 4: Apocalypse is available on pay-per-view. So order now and do not miss the biggest and bloodiest event that the X-WCW will give to you this 2011!!!”
Ringside
After the cheap plug by Cole Ryan, we go back to ringside and hear “Revolution” by Jim Johnston blaring at the speakers. The fans boo as they see Tony Bonito and John Crook appear at ringside wearing suits and shades. The ringside area fills with chants of ‘asshole’ and ‘nito, sucks’ while the two Revolution leaders walk down the aisle.
JR: “Welcome back to X-WCW doubleshot and as you can see we are here at ringside as Tony Bonito and John Crook are making their way to the ring.”
RK: “The fans are obviously not enjoying this sight, JR.”
JR: “Who would blame them, King? These two are not the most well liked men here in the X-WCW to begin with.”
Tony Bonito and John Crook enter the ring and the music slowly gets cut off. The fans booing start to become more audible with the music turned off. Bonito is handed the mic and starts to talk to the audience.
TB: “People, people, people, don’t get too depressed. I know it’s hard for all of you to take it this early but I assure you, once the Revolution has decimated the nTo, the X-WCW will be a better place.”
The fans boo and chant “asshole” at the duo while Bonito starts to pace around the ring.
TB: “You know, for almost the whole of the X-WCW’s existence, the nTo has been that group that tries to take over. Hell, the nTo was the top dog, headed by none other than Christopher Back himself. With the nTo on his side, you all saw how power hungry, how greedy, and how corrupted the X-WCW has become. I’m not making things up, people, oh this is true…it’s DAMN TRUE!”
Bonito pauses for a while for his words to sink into the crowd before he begins again.
TB: “Now when the Revolution dropped by the X-WCW, you all saw how it went. Compared to Back and his cronies, we ran the ship to its fullest. Did you see anyone complain? Aside from a few bitter X-WCW wrestlers, doubt it. On that short span where the Revolution was at the top of the food chain, the X-WCW was riding high! No one would fear the nTo, because their leaders were either injured or too weak to run roughshod over the X-WCW. For one instance, the X-WCW was liberated…and who should they all thank??? THE REVOLUTION! That’s who, bucko!”
Bonito has a grin on his face while the fans continue to boo him and Crook. Soon enough, Bonito hands the mic to Crook who starts to address the fans.
JC: “This man here says the truth. You know, for years, I had to deal with Christopher Back’s huge ego in the board room alongside my co-workers. I grew tired of his power plays just for him or the nTo to stay at the top of the X-WCW. So one day, as you saw, I called on to Tony and a couple of his friends to hatch a plan. That original plan was to systematically take out the nTo’s leaders. You all saw this when we injured D-Extreme. Soon enough, Christopher Back himself wasn’t safe from the onslaught. After those two were down, we finally established the Revolution to take over the X-WCW and take over we did.”
Crook has a smirk on his face while he makes a pause, to the disdain of the fans.
JC: “Say it, people, the X-WCW WAS a better place when Back was inactive. No longer did we need to see his ugly face at ringside announcing matches according to his whim. Now that he’s back, he’s doing the same thing all over again and you people now cheer for him? Why? Is t because you think he and the nTo are the good guys?”
John Crook shakes his head and laughs lightly.
JC: “Hahaha….NO! They are not! They are the scourge of the X-WCW. We momentarily purged them here and it worked wonders. The X-WCW was doing the best business it had in the past few years when Back and company were pretty much put in the injured list! We lead, we managed the X-WCW on his absence and you got to admit that we did better than Christopher Back ever did!”
The fans boo some more before “No chance” by dope plays and Christopher Back comes out with a mic of his own. The fans cheer at C-Back who stands tall on stage and faces the ring where a surprised John Crook and Tony Bonito are situated on.
CB: “Wow, look what we have inside the ring, two morons who don’t know any better. Yes, it’s true, so most of the time the X-WCW wasn’t doing that well in your standards when I ran the ship, Crook. However, you cannot deny the fact that the power is back to where it belongs. Not to the Revolution, and quite contrary, not even to the nTo. Don’t even say it belongs to me either, oh no. The power is back with the people!”
TB laughs inside the ring and gets the mic from Crook while the fans cheer.
TB: “Wow, look who’s pandering to the crowd now. I can’t believe this. The mighty, Christopher ‘Cyberstrike’ Back, is actually giving the audience this garbage? Cut the crap! You know full well you’re in control of the X-WCW now and once we defeat your sorry ass, we will have the power back again and the nTo will cease to exist!”
CB smirks at the stage.
CB: “Awww…did I struck a nerve on Bonito? That’s tough. Crook, Bonito, you and your Revolution junkies have run its course already. On Bloodbath 4: Apocalypse, it is the end for you. You just don’t know it yet.”
CB pulls down his microphone as the fans chant “X-WCW”. Christopher Back slowly lifts his mic to speak again
CB: “Gents, we still have a main even here to hold so I’ll keep this message short and simple: On Bloodbath I assure you that the nTo are not going to lose to the revolution. WE WILL CONQUER!!!”
CB slams the microphone to the stage and points at the two men in the ring while his music starts to play. While he continues to point, a smirk appears on his face.
RK: “He’s pointing at the ring JR, with his music blaring, he’s signaling one thing to Crook and Bonito…there’s no chance in hell he or the nTo are going to lay down for the Revolution.”
JR: “Bloodbath is nearing and the biggest clash of the X-WCW history will happen on that night as well. The nTo vs The Revolution. Well folks, we will have our final commercial break, don’t go away, we still have a main event in store for you!”
Doubleshot goes to a brief commercial break while we see Bonito and Crook looking displeased inside the ring.
Double 8 preview
Tag Team Match
Sean Byrne & Autobot Jazz vs. Rocky Davis & Nightmare
Doubleshot returns from the commercial break and we pan over to the ring where Terri Hotbody II is on standby.
THII: “The following tag team match is a preview for the Double 8 tournament and is scheduled for one fall!”
“Awake and Alive” by Skillet hits the speakers and Autobot Jazz makes his way to the ringside area. The fans cheer loudly at AJ while he makes his way down the rampway.
THII: “Introducing first, from Melbourne Florida, AUTOBOT JAZZ!!”
AJ high fives a number of fans while he walks down the ramp. He stays outside the ring while his music continues to play on.
JR: “Welcome back to Doubleshot! Tonight we will see the four competitors for Bloodbath 4’s main event in tag team action.”
RK: “Speaking of tag teams, this man here has a lot of tag team experience in the X-WCW.”
JR: “He is somewhat labeled as a tag team guy, King. However, he’ll try to take out that label on Bloodbath 4 by being one of the four men slated for a chance to win the biggest prize of this company.”
Autobot Jazz’s music slowly fades out while “Spoiling for a fight” by AC/DC starts to play. Sean Byrne enters the ringside to the same cheers that were given to AJ.
THII: “And his partner, from Boston Massachusetts, the Boston Rocker…SEAN BYRNE!!!”
Sean Byrne marches down the rampway and slaps some hands of the fans. He reaches AJ and both men bump fists before they enter the wrestling ring.
RK: “If AJ is known for tag team wrestling, Byrne is a different story.”
JR: “It’s been a few years since he made his debut in the X-WCW, King. Sean Byrne has evolved into one of the top stars of the X-WCW. The next question is, is he ready to get the top prize?”
Byrne and AJ pose on different corners of the ring to the delight of the fans until Byrne’s music fades out. Both men go on one corner and discuss while we hear “For whom the bell tolls” by Metallica play in the PA Systems. Nightmare emerges from the backstage and slowly makes his way down the rampway.
THII: “Their opponents, from your living nightmare…NIGHTMARE!!!”
The fans give him a mixed reaction while he makes his way into the ring. He heads over to the corner and stares at the crowd before gazing at his two opponents.
JR: “Nightmare is another wrestler we need to consider into the equation, King. This man is a very talented individual when he performs in this ring.”
RK: “Some people are rooting for this guy to win at the PPV. With his skill set and ruthlessness, who could question those supporters? I still am in doubt though, JR. Maybe he still lacks something before he can be the champ. But…I think he’ll make a believer out of me if he does win on Bloodbath 4.”
His music is cut off by Rob Zombie’s “Superbeast” and the entrance of his partner. Rocky Davis is in the X-WCW stage and does a pose while the fans boo.
THII: “And his partner, from Washington DC, he is The Next Big Thing…ROCKY DAVIS!!!”
RD makes his way down the rampway and looks disgusted at the fans who continue to boo him.
RK: “If you told me a few years ago that THIS man walking down the ramp would be X-WCW world championship material..I’d laugh at you, JR.”
JR: “Well he is one of the contenders for the title at Bloodbath. What if I tell you he can be world championship material tonight?”
RK: “I will actually agree with you now. Rocky’s come a long way from being a laughing stock to…semi-laughing stock of the X-WCW. We’ll see how far he can go in the near future.”
Rocky climbs into the ring and looks on the other side of it to see Byrne and AJ. He mouths off some choice words at him before staring down at Nightmare.
RK: “Like it or not, it seems like these two will be teaming up tonight.”
JR: “There is some history between Rocky Davis and Nightmare. Hopefully they can set that aside tonight and try to get a win over a more stable pairing of Sean Byrne and Autobot Jazz.”
Rocky’s music slowly fades with all four men inside the ring. The bell rings to start the match and on one side of the ring we see Sean Byrne and Autobot Jazz doing a high five while on the other we see Nightmare and Rocky somewhat arguing with each other.
RK: “Well as we talked about, the two teams are a stark contrast of each other. One has clashing egos, while the other seems to be working well from the get-go.”
Byrne heads to the corner while Autobot Jazz waits for either Rocky Davis or Nightmare to face him off. Seconds later, AJ looks a bit agitated while NM and RD continues to bicker over in their side as the referee tries to tell them it’s time to get the match going. Autobot Jazz shrugs before he goes over and takes out both of them with a double clothesline.
JR: “Autobot Jazz certain can’t wait for them to end their argument and just took both men out with clotheslines.”
AJ picks up a recovering Rocky Davis and delivers some punches to the face of his opponent. The referee helps Nightmare get to his feet and escorts him to his respective corner. Rocky Davis tries to fight back with some punches of his own and shoves AJ away from him. Rocky Davis takes down AJ with a shoulder block and runs towards the ropes. AJ gets on his feet and leapfrogs over Rocky once he comes back. Rocky bounces off the ropes yet again and is caught by a dropkick by his opponent.
JR: “Autobot Jazz delivers an amazing dropkick to his opponent!”
RK: “Did you check that elevation of his dropkick JR? That was mighty high!”
Rocky Davis gets to his feet and is taken down by another dropkick from Autobot Jazz. AJ picks up Rocky, but Davis uses his strength to back him to a nearby corner. There, Rocky Davis starts to deliver a barrage of shoulder charges to the stomach area of his opponent.
JR: “Rocky Davis is handing out the punishment on AJ at that corner.”
RK: “I don’t think he appreciated being kicked too much on the face.”
Rocky Davis turns around to taunt his own partner after delivering the punishment on the corner. He turns around, only to get a kick on the face by Autobot Jazz. AJ climbs up to the top rope and launches himself from the corner with a flying crossbody. AJ’s crossbody connects and both men are on the mat. AJ and Rocky scramble up to their feet and Rocky Davis catches his opponent with a boot to the gut. Rocky whips AJ into the ropes and tries to go for a back body drop. AJ baseball slides through RD and delivers a bulldog.
RK: “AJ is giving it to Rocky Davis right now, JR.”
AJ waits for Rocky to get to his feet before he scores a couple of forearms to the face of his opponent. He bounces off the ropes, but he is taken down by a fierce clothesline from Rocky Davis.
RK: “Aaaaand I spoke too soon.”
Davis kicks the back of AJ before he hauls him to a vertical base. He reels AJ in for another huge clothesline.
RK: “Oh my goodness I think he just turned AJ inside-out.”
JR: “Rocky is definitely showing a mean streak here, King.”
Rocky Davis waits for Autobot Jazz to get to his feet before he grabs him. RD takes him down with a belly to belly slam that shakes the ring to its core. Yes, we said ‘core’, you know it.
JR: “Bah gawd what a powerful slam delivered there by Rocky Davis!”
Autobot Jazz slowly gathers to his feet while Rocky Davis taunts him. AJ leans on the corner and Rocky Davis tries to charge at him there. However, AJ gets out of the way and goes on the apron while Rocky hits face first onto the turnbuckle. Rocky staggers backwards and goes down after AJ delivers a springboard dropkick from the ring apron. Autobot Jazz goes over to his corner and tag out to Sean Byrne. Both AJ and SB pick up Rocky and whip him across the ropes. On his way back, he’s taken down by a double hiptoss. AJ heads over to his corner while Sean Byrne delivers some stomps to his downed opponent.
JR: “The Boston Rocker is putting the boots on Rocky Davis as we speak, King.”
RK: “Don’t you mean he’s stomping a mudhole?”
JR: “Yes, that’s what I meant.”
Sean Byrne picks up Rocky Davis and delivers a snap suplex. He waits for RD to get up and then he delivers a scoop slam. He hooks the leg for the pinfall but Rocky kicks out at one. Sean Byrne tries to whip Rocky into the ropes but RD kicks him in the gut to stop the attempt. Rocky Davis goes over to the ropes and bounces off it, only to be tagged on the back by his partner. Rocky, without the knowledge of being tagged, takes down Sean Byrne with a shoulder block. He tries to pick up his opponent by the referee informs him that he has been tagged out already. While this is happening, Nightmare enters the ring and pulls Sean Byrne into a nearby corner.
RK: “Rocky doesn’t look too happy that his partner just tagged himself in, JR.”
Nightmare delivers some hard kicks to the body of Sean Byrne on the corner and punctuates it with a spinning heel kick across Sean’s jaw. Sean Byrne is slumped on the corner and Nightmare chokes him with him by using his boot. Seconds later, Nightmare lets go and delivers a running knee smash straight to the Boston Rocker.
JR: “Sean Byrne is receiving some punishment, King.”
RK: “I thought he had this upperhand earlier, JR. Maybe the shoulder block knocked him into next week or something. That or maybe the kicks had to do with more damage to Sean.”
Sean Byrne is pulled up by Nightmare and gets hit by some kicks to the mid-section yet again. Nightmare bounces off the ropes and tries to go for a flying forearm but he misses. He gets to his feet only to get caught by a boot to the gut by Byrne. SB follows it up with a couple of clubs to the back of Nightmare before he reels him in for a snap suplex.
JR: “Snap suplex connects by Sean Byrne and he just turned the tide here, King!”
Sean Byrne rubs his own cheek lightly, favoring that knee smash from earlier, before he runs towards a recovering Nightmare. Nightmare gets hit by a knee lift from his opponent and falls on his knees. Sean Byrne scoops him up and drops Nightmare to the mat with a bodyslam. Sean Byrne waits for Nightmare to get up before he scoops him and slams him to the ring mat for the second straight time. Nightmare gets to his feet and Sean Byrne takes him down the mat yet again with a spinning elbow smash to the face. Sean Byrne shouts ‘c’mon’ to a recovering Nightmare, delighting the fans.
RK: “Sean Byrne is fired up right now, JR! This is going to be dangerous for Nightmare.”
Sean Byrne kicks Nightmare in the gut and then bounces off the ropes to deliver a swinging neckbreaker. Nightmare is on the mat while Sean Byrne scours up to the nearby corner.
JR: “The Boston Rocker is heading for the high rent district and launches himself off for the Seanton Bomb!”
He pulls off his senton bomb, but Nightmare had his knees up. Sean Byrne hurts himself on his own move and both men are momentarily down. Nightmare is the first to get up and he delivers a couple of well placed boots to the back of Sean Byrne. SB groans in pain as Nightmare delivers a third stomp to his back.
RK: “Nightmare is making Sean Byrne pay for his miscalculations, JR. He should have waited instead of going early for that move.”
Nightmare hauls SB up to his feet and delivers a kick right on his opponent’s stomach. Nightmare reels SB in for a kick right on the jaw. Byrne goes down and Nightmare heads to the ropes to deliver a springboard moonsault.
JR: “Shades of Chris Jericho, and it connects. Nightmare hooks the leg of Byrne for the one…two…and Byrne kicks out at the last second.”
Nightmare and Sean Byrne get to their feet slowly. NM connects with a punch to the face of SB, but Byrne fights back with a punch of his own. Byrne connects with two more hard punches to the face of Nightmare before he shoots Nightmare into the ropes. Both men deliver a clothesline to the other and sends both of them down on the mat.
RK: “Both wrestlers had the same thing in mind and they are down with those dual clotheslines.”
Nightmare and Sean Byrne slowly crawl to their corner. The cameras show the ring where AJ and RD have their hands extended to their partners. Nightmare tags out to Rocky Davis and SB tags in Autobot Jazz. Rocky Davis charges at a charged up AJ, but is taken down by a fast dropkick. AJ delivers another dropkick to the face of Rocky Davis before he sees a recovering Nightmare make his way near to him. AJ kicks Nightmare before he delivers a snap suplex. Nightmare rolls to the outside of the ring while Rocky Davis attacks AJ from behind. He delivers a hard forearm smash to the back of AJ’s head and spins him around for a couple of clubbing blows.
JR: “He has AJ neutralized so far with those clubbing blows.”
RK: “AJ was on fire earlier but I think Rocky just doused him out.”
Outside the ring, Nightmare slowly gets to his feet and leans on the nearby apron. There, he sees a view of Rocky Davis whipping AJ towards his direction. Smirking, Nightmare looks away from the action and hears footsteps nearing him. As soon as it’s in range, Nightmare grabs the boot and tries to trip the incoming person. It fails as it just stops the man. He turns around and looks up, to see Rocky Davis on the receiving end of the close tripping. Rocky Davis, who had his Irish whip reversed by AJ looks at NM a bit surprised and kicks his hand away. Nightmare hops onto the apron where he and Rocky Davis start to argue.
RK: “A little miscommunication, JR, and these two are off arguing with each other like an old couple.”
AJ bounces off the ropes and delivers a dropkick behind Rocky Davis. RD stumbles near the ropes and knocks off Nightmare form the apron. NM crashes to the nearby security wall and is knocked out on the ringside floor. Inside the ring, RD staggers into AJ, who picks him up on his shoulders. Using all his strength, Autobot Jazz sends RD down with the Stasis Lock. Rocky Davis falls down on the mat and AJ covers him up for the count.
RK: “Stasis Lock by Autobot Jazz and here’s the cover: 1-2-3! He did it! Autobot Jazz and Sean Byrne pick up the victory here!”
Autobot Jazz’s music hits the speakers as SB comes inside the ring to raise his partner’s hand.
THII: “The winners of this match as a result of pinfall, the team of Autobot Jazz and Sean Byrne!!!”
JR: “What an interesting tag team match, King. Two teams that are polar opposites.”
RK: “You can say that again, JR. Rocky and Nightmare just imploded and it cost them this match. One thing is for sure, while Sean Byrne and Autobot Jazz have mutual respect, it’s every man for themselves in the fatal fourway ultimate endurance match.”
JR: “Well folks that’s all the time we have, for Randal King, this is James Russell. See you on Bloodbath!”
Doubleshot goes off the air as AJ and SB shake hands inside the ring.
