X-WCW goes on the air as we see highlights from the last show.
Nitro 25…
We see the footage of Nitro 25 with Cane Deathscream with a microphone on his hand.
CD: “On Ground Zero, it’s gonna be you and John Crook vs Team XS in a tag team throwdown match!”
TB, looking satisfied, releases Otacon while the rest of the revolution look at the stage where Cane is standing. Bonito has a smirk on his face before he snatches the mic from Renegade’s hands.
TB: “That’s more like it Cane. Team XS, I do not care who the hell they are, but tell them they have to be ready for me.”
JR: “It’s going to be Bonito and Crook vs the mystery team dubbed ‘Team XS’. Folks, let the speculations begin!”
The footage fades to black as we see Bonito pointing at Cane on the stage.
Backstage
We go backstage and the cameras direct us to the office of John Crook. We see Crook talking to someone on his phone with a worried expression etched on his face.
JC: “C’mon! You seriously cannot let me and Tony get out of this match? I’m a part or was a former part of the Board of Directors! Do me a favor already! What? You mean the BoD really cannot reverse this decision? Ugh…that’s just great. Fine I’ll talk to you later. I gotta call my lawyers about this.”
He hangs up on his phone and quickly pulls out his cellphone. He dials a few numbers before he goes to talking with the man on the other side of the phone conversation.
JC: “Johnson, what’s the status? Can you let me out of this match? Can you find any loopholes on the signed deal? What? What do you mean it’s iron clad?! You are the best of the group, fix this! I know you can! Dammit, Ground Zero is a few months away! I want out of this mess ASAP!”
Crook notices a knock on the door and shouts “Get in!” before he talks to the man on the phone.
JC: “Ok, I gotta go. Seriously though, I’m paying you good money to get me out of this match, got it? Bye. Now how may I help you….oh it’s you guys.”
Cue the cameras zooming out to show Karl Baller and CJ Baller in front of the desk of John Crook.
KB: “Oh, real rap dawg. You can help me and my brotha right here. Tonight, we want a match against your revolution punks! I don’t care who it is, RNR, Powerbomb, but we want a piece of you and your boys tonight.”
CJ Baller nods in agreement with his brother as John Crook shakes his head.
JC: “No can do, Karl. RNR is not here tonight. Furthermore, Powermaster and Bombshell cannot tag anymore after they lost that crucial match with Starstorm. Finally, Renegade Ron Michaels and Tony Bonito have matches on their own. So I’m sorry boys but..”
KB: “What about you, Crook? You’re here, why not try and lace up your boots before Ground Zero huh?”
JC: “Are you crazy, Baller? Do you think fighting you two with another partner from the Revolution is good business?”
John Crook rises from his seat and points to the door.
JC: “You two get out before I call security.”
KB: “Think about it Crook, you can show this Team XS or whoever the hell they are you can fight in a wrestling match. Me and CJ here, are all the more willing to provide you with the competition. C’mon, think about it Crook…you and any revolution jack ass vs me and my brother CJ.”
Crook calms down slightly and sits down. He looks back to the Baller brothers and nods.
JC: “Now that you mention it, Baller, that’s a good idea. You two vs me and a partner of my choosing.”
Karl and CJ look at each other and do a high five.
KB: “Crook, you have no idea how good of an idea that is. See ya in da ring later.”
Both men leave the office with smiles on their faces while Crook opens his phone and speaks with his secretary.
JC: “Call in Powermater Prime…”
X-WCW TV Championship
Seith Helloct vs Mike Magnus(c)
We go back to ringside and we see Terri Hotbody II in the middle of the ring.
THII: “The following singles match is for the X-WCW Television Championship!!!”
“The crows” by Dark Lotus plays and Seith Helloct appears at the ringside area to the jeers of the fans.
THII: “Introducing the challenger, from Pensacola Florida, SEITH HELLOCT!!!”
JR: “Welcome everyone to WARZONE! I am James Russell and alongside me here is Randal King. We are live at the sold out Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri!!!”
RK: “The crowd is alive and well JR! Heck, they are even booing poor Seith on his way down here!”
JR: “Right now folks we will witness a match for the X-WCW TV title. The X-WCW Television Championship as most of us know is always defended at every show.”
RK: “Seith is no slouch, JR. He has been a former X-WCW IC champion and even a former X-WCW Television Champion. Seith is facing familiar territory here tonight, JR! There is no doubt he knows what it’s like to defend that belt.”
Seith enters the ring and does his usual pose to the audience before he goes to one side of the ring and waits for his opponent. Just then, “To the pain” by non-point blares into the PA Systems and Mike Magnus enters the ringside to the cheers and adorations of the crowd while the TV title is wrapped around his waist.
THII: “And the opponent, he is the current and reigning X-WCW Television Champion, MIKE MAGNUS!!!”
JR: “King, Mike Magnus is apparently also is not a slouch to competition. Just last Nitro he defended his belt against 3 other men and still retained.”
RK: “Impressive is one word to describe that, JR! Three other men were gunning for his title in that match, but he still managed to retain it. Right now it may not be three opponents, but he shouldn’t take Seith likely..”
JR: “That is a true assessment, King, this will be one evenly matched contest for the TV title.”
Mike slides into the ring and heads to the corner where he raises his TV title proudly in the air. The fans continue to cheer for the TV champ while his music slowly fades into the background. He heads back to the ring and gives his TV belt to the ring official.
RK: “This is gonna be a good opening match if I do say so myself, JR.”
The bell rings and both men go to the center of the ring. Seith and Mike Magnus lock up and it’s the TV champion who gets the early advantage as he takes down Seith with an armdrag. Seith gets back up and avoids an incoming Mike Magnus with a sidestep. Seith catches Mike Magnus with a couple of shots to the gut before he drives him to the mat with an armbar takedown. Both men get to their feet and it’s Mike Magnus who strikes first with a forearm smash to the face of Seith. He gives another forearm smash to the face of Seith Helloct and backs him into the corner.
JR: “He has the challenger at the corner and Mike Magnus continues his fight with a couple of hard hitting shoulder blocks to the mid-section of Sieth Helloct.”
Mike Magnus tries to whip Seith to the other side of the ring but Seith reverses it. He follows Mike towards the other corner, but once he gets there he recieves a back elbow smash on the face by the TV champ. Mike Magnus jumps onto the second rope and delivers a springboard crossbody onto Seith Helloct. Seith goes down and is pinned, but he reverses the momentum to get the pinning position on Mike Magnus instead. The referee counts 1 and Mike Magnus kicks out.
RK: “Man that was a surprising move by Seith when he used Mike Magnus’ own momentum to his advantage.”
Seith Helloct waits for Mike Magnus to get to his feet before he tries to grab him yet again. However, Mike catches Helloct with a kick to the gut and then bodyslams the challenger to the mat. Seith gets to his feet but Mike takes him down with a hiptoss. Mike Magnus waits for Helloct to get up before he tries a clothesline. He misses and Seith Helloct makes him pay with a hard knee to the mid-section. He reels Magnus and strikes him down with a hard clothesline.
JR: “He almost beheaded Mike Magnus with that powerful clothesline, King!”
Seith stomps down on Mike Magnus for a while before he picks him up and sends him hitting the nearby corner of the ring. Seith follows him over there and hits a hard clothesline. He tries to follow it up with a running bulldog but Mike shoves him away. Seith turns around and he is sent over the ropes. Helloct does not crash to the outside, however, he lands on the ring apron. Mike tries to deliver a punch but it’s blocked. Helloct delivers a couple of punches before he tries to suplex Mike Magnus to the outside.
RK: “Seith looks like he wants to suplex him outta the ring. However, I think Mike is hung on pretty tight on that one.”
JR: “It’s a struggle of wills right now King. Whoever breaks it won’t be too pleased.”
Seith tries his best to pull Mike up with the suplex, but its Mike Magnus who does so. Mike lifts Seith in a vertical suplex position and then hangs Seith on the top rope. Seith is hung to dry on the top rope and Mike Magnus bounces off the ropes to deliver a knee lift that hits the chin of Seith. The laws of physics seem to be on Magnus’ side as Seith falls backwards and crashes to the outside of the ring after that kneelift delivered to his face.
RK: “Now that’s a way to take out the competition if I do say so myself!”
Mike Magnus waits for Seith Helloct to get to his feet before he does a springboard planca off the top rope. He does so, but he misses Helloct and lands face first onto the security barrier. He staggers backwards and into a hard forearm to the back by Seith. Seith has Mike Magnus leaning on the crowd barrier as he deliver multiple chops across the TV Champion’s chest. While all of this is happening, however, the referee has started to count out both men.
JR: “Seith Helloct is lighting up Mike Magnus with those knife-edged chops across the chest. But it seems like Magnus would fight back right now. Look at those hard kicks to the stomach on Seith.”
RK: “And look at that hard punch that just swept the challenger off his feet!”
Seith Helloct makes it up to his feet and is sent crashing towards the steel steps by the champion. Seith crashes and burns upon impact on the steel steps and is laid out.
RK: “Di-DID YOU SEE THAT JR?! Man that was a hard crash onto the steel steps! However, I’d like to get back in the ring now if I were Mike Magnus if he either wanna extend his trip outside the ring or not get counted out. I believe the count is already at 8.”
Indeed it was as the referee shouted for 9 soon enough as Mike Magnus tries to scoop up Seith Helloct. Seith shoves him out of the way and pushes Magnus near the crowd barrier. With Mike still not aware, Seith Helloct clotheslines Mike over the barrier the same time the referee shouts to ten. He tells the timekeeper to ring the bell and Terri Hotbody II announces the outcome of the match.
THII: “As a result of a double countout, this match is declared a DRAW!!!”
A mixed reaction reverberates within the crowd as one half is dismayed while the other remains excited as the post-match bedlam continues in the crowd. Seith and Mike start to deliver hard punches to one another within the crowd barrier before any security could restrain them.
JR: “The match has been declared a draw ladies and gentlemen! Both men have been counted out and this means that Mike Magnus is still the X-WCW TV champion.”
RK: “As much as he would be blessing his lucky stars for that tonight, I think he’s more focused on beating the hell out of his opponent even after the match!”
JR: “Well folks, as much as it is exhilarating to view Mike Magnus and Seith Helloct continue the mayhem with the crowd right now, we have to cut to a quick commercial break. Stay tuned, more Warzone after this!”
X-WCW Warzone hits to commercials as soon as we see a horde of security people trying to separate the TV Champion and Seith.

Non Title match
Nightmare vs The Real American (c)
JR: “Welcome back to Warzone folks. Coming up two guys that aren’t too fond of each other are gonna step in the ring and duke it out.
RK: “Saying they don’t like each other might be an understatement.”
Go To Sleep by DMX, Obie Trice and Eminem plays through the PA. The crowd gives a bit of a mixed reaction for Nightmare as he appears from the back.
THII: “The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a thirty minute time limit. Introducing first, weighing in at 145 pounds, he is the Martial Arts Master of the X-WCW, Nightmare!”
JR: “And tonight, Nightmare’s gonna have to rely on his quickness and martial arts background to beat the big man.”
As Nightmare gets in the ring and waits, “Super Beast” by Rob Zombie plays and the bigger Rocky Davis appears.
THII: “And his opponent, being accompanied to the ring by The Lost Boy and Aries, from Ellis Island, weighing 350 pounds, “The Real American” Rocky Davis!”
Davis and his Carnage, Inc crew receive a very vocal crowd reaction. It is extremely negative. Big heel reaction. I think a few people are even shouting profanities at him.
JR: “Davis is one big hoss and will have the power advantage.”
RK: “What’s Charlie Haas have to do with this match.”
JR: “Not Charlie Haas. A hoss. You know, over six foot five and over 300 pounds. Possibly lacking in the brain department.”
RK: “So like Batista.”
JR: “Yes, now stop mentioning guy from up north. We’re gonna get sued again.”
As the music fades out, both competitors circle around and wait for the bell. The time keeper didn’t get the first signal, so the ref signals again. The time keeper sees it this time rings the bell. (Mr. Back might have to fire this guy. He spends too much time on his iPod and not enough time looking for signals.
The two men lock up and Nightmare is quickly sent to the ground. He gets up, but is quickly sent down again.
JR: “Nightmare needs to play the speed game and try to match power with Davis.”
As if he magically heard that, Nightmare decides to leg sweep Davis and is successful in bringing the big man down He goes for a quick cover, but the bigger man quickly kicks out.
Nightmare picks Davis up and tries to Irish whip him to the corner. Davis reverses and sends Nightmare to the corner. He then charges and connects with a running shoulder block and Nightmare tumbles. With Carnage Inc cheering on, Davis goes for a cover.
JR: “Here’s the pin attempt, but no, Nightmare gets the shoulder up.”
RK: “It looks that took a lot out of him though.”
Davis goes immediately for another pin, but Nightmare kicks out again.
RK: “That’s very effective. It makes Nightmare use up a lot of energy.”
JR: “He has to be reeling from that splash in the corner. He hasn’t had a chance to catch his breath.”
Davis picks up Nightmare and throws him off the ropes. He goes for a clothesline, but Nightmare ducks under and hits a quick spin kick to disorient Davis. Nightmare then hits a standing drop kick to knock him down.”
JR: “And the big man is off his feet. Nightmare goes for the cover and only a two count for Nightmare.”
Nightmare goes to bounce off the ropes, but unbeknownst to the referee, Aries grabs Nightmare’s ankle and it stops him. He turns around to Carnage Inc who play dumb giving Davis enough time to charge and hit Nightmare in the back. He picks up Nightmare and puts him overhead.
JR: “Davis is showing his strength tonight. He pulls Nightmare up and it looks like a military press is coming up.”
James hits it on the head. Davis presses Nightmare like a weight and then drops him behind his back. Nightmare is reeling on the floor as Nightmare goes for a pin.
JR: “Davis is looking to end this. Nightmare gets the shoulder up again.”
Nightmare is lying on the ground. Davis goes up to the top rope.
RK: “Is this a good idea?”
JR: “Probably not.”
Davis leaps going for an elbow drop, but Nightmare rolls out of the way and Davis eats canvas. Nightmare then hits him with a couple of sharp kicks.
JR: “There’s the martial arts coming in. Those were directed and strong.”
Davis gets to his knees and Nightmare kicks him in the head. Davis staggers and Nightmare whips him to the corner. He then goes to the corner and hits a strong roundhouse kick to Davis. Nightmare keeps Davis in the corner. He then lights into him with a series of hard knife edge chops.
JR: “The training background Nightmare has makes those chops very painful and very dangerous. His whole body is a weapon.”
Davis tries to fight out, but Nightmare just gives him a swift kick to the temple. Hen then hits his go to sleep maneuver.
JR: “That was out of nowhere. Now he goes to the ropes.”
Nightmare jumps up each rope and connects with a beautiful moonsault.
JR: “There’s the triple moonsault Nightmare simply calls Fear. Here’s the cover. 1,2,3. Nightmare wins.”
“Go To Sleep” plays as Nightmare celebrates.
THII: “Here is you winner, Nightmare!”
As Nightmare celebrates, Davis gets up. As soon as he does, Joe Goldstone comes out of nowhere and hits Davis. The two begin to brawl and soon Nightmare gets involved. The three won’t stop and soon security (a.k.a developmental talent in black polo shirts) come down to the ring and breaks up the three. They quickly break through and start brawling again. After the second time, Security is finally able to restrain them to get them to the back.
RK: “That was certainly a volatile situation.”
JR: “Absolutely, Goldstone and Davis can’t stand each other and Nightmare won’t back down from a good fight. These three are gonna meet in a ring soon hopefully and it’ll be intense. Folks, we have more to come. We just to take a quick commercial break.”

Brett: “And I am the Playboy, Brett Rayne”
Rage: “On Doubleshot, RNR will debut the first ever live edition of X-WCW.com’s number one internet video…THE FIVE STAR REVIEW.”
Brett: “Don’t forget folks, our guests are the four losers who are Final Frontier and The Lost Boys.”
Rage: “So on Doubleshot, tune in to see history in the making.”
We see the logo of the X-WCW while we hear the standard voice over guy.
V.O.: “Do not miss the first ever live edition of the Five Star Review…on X-WCW Doubleshot!”

Tony Bonito Invitational/World Heavyweight Championship
Sean Byrne vs. Tony Bonito (c)
We go to ringside and we see Terri Hotbody II inside the ring already.
THII: “The following is the Tony Bonito Invitational and is for the X-WCW World Heavyweight Championship!”
“Spoiling for the fight” by AC/DC plays around the ringside area and Sean Byrne makes his way to the ring. The fans cheer loudly for the US champ as he has the US title strapped around his waist.
THII: “Introducing the challenger, he is the current X-WCW United States Champion, “The Boston Rocker” SEAN BYRNE!!!”
SB walks down the aisle and delivers some high fives to the adoring fans.
JR: “Sean Byrne, one of the most popular X-WCW superstars in recent memory.”
RK: “I gotta admit, JR, he has built a huge fan base over the past few months. Though he is still lacking the intellect on picking his fights, he knows how to rile up the fans.”
JR: “There is no doubt, the fans love this guy.”
Sean Byrne slides into the ring and air guitars with his US title belt in the middle of the ring before heading to the corner. There, he lifts up his US title proudly into the air and soaks up more cheers from the audience. He climbs down from the corner and spins around to face the stage in anticipation of his opponent. The music fades out and soon enough “Fury of the storm” emerges from the speakers. The fans cheering Sean Byrne slowly transform into boos once they see Tony Bonito emerge at ringside. TB, with his head casted down on the floor, is wearing his usual attire and the X-WCW World Heavyweight Championship belt is on his shoulder while the other title is on the other.
THII: “And his opponent, from Boston Mass. He is the current X-WCW Champion and the X-WCW Heavyweight Champion….TONY BONITO!!!”
He points his fingers in the air and the usual pyrotechnic display erupts on stage. The fans continue to boo and even chant “Nito, Sucks!” before TB walks down the aisle menacingly.
JR: “Tony Bonito, he is one hell of an athlete, King. He would really put Sean Byrne up to the test tonight.”
RK: “There is no doubt about that, JR. There is a good reason why Tony Bonito is the champion. True, most critics would say he had help along his way, but you cannot tell me that he doesn’t have the talent to back his claim up for being the best in the X-WCW today, and in the entire history of the industry.”
Bonito enters the ring and does his pre-match ring spin after taking off his hood. He heads up to a ring corner and slowly makes his ascent. Once up on the corner, Bonito raises his two belts proudly while the fans continue to bombard him with the boos. He heads down to the ring and hands his two belts to the referee.
JR: “King, what do you think is running on the mind of Sean Byrne?”
RK: “What I am thinking on what he is thinking? Well honestly, I think he is having a lot on his mind right now. Mainly, he is thinking how to survive such an intense and agile wrestler in Tony Bonito. Secondly, he would try to think of a way to find an advantage against Bonito, which is harder to figure out. Finally, he might be thinking about luck, and how much luck he would get tonight and if it does amount him to winning this match eventually. Lotsa things running on the mind of Sean Byrne, and Bonito is not excluded either. He also needs to think about how painful it would be if he would lose.”
The bell rings and both men go to the center of the ring. TB and SB lock up instantly and it’s Bonito with the early lead as he goes behind Sean with a headlock. A couple of seconds later, Sean Byrne fights his way out of the sleeper hold by delivering some elbow smashes to the gut of the champion. TB’s grip loosens and SB tries to run out of his grasps. Unfortunately for Byrne, Bonito has a chunk full of his hair and slams SB to the mat. Bonito picks up Byrne and wraps around him for a belly to belly suplex.
JR: “Bonito took control of the early goings of this match with that quick belly to belly suplex on Sean Byrne.”
RK: “He knows that if Sean goes on a roll, Bonito would be hard pressed to stop him. Bonito is certainly using his mat technique to get the upperhand in this match.”
Sean Byrne gets to his feet and Tony Bonito bounces off the ropes. Byrne scouts him and quickly arm drags the champion to the mat. Both men get to their feet and Byrne charges at Bonito, who this time gets armdragged by the champion. Bonito waits for Byrne to get to his feet before he tries to deliver a running clothesline. The Boston Rocker dodges the clothesline and catches Bonito with a few punches to the face. He tries to deliver a third punch on Bonito, but the champion avoids it and slithers behind Byrne. He has him in a waist lock position, but Byrne backs both himself and Bonito to the nearby corner. Bonito’s hold loosens and Byrne turns around to deliver some boots to the champion.
RK: “The United States Champion is unloading on the World Champion right now with those boots, JR!”
JR: “Sean Byrne with those hard boots to the gut of Tony Bonito is helping him make a comeback in the early goings of this match.”
Byrne climbs on top of the ropes and starts to deliver some slow punches to the head of Bonito. He hits a couple of punches on the forehead of the X-WCW Champion, but Bonito fights back with some shots to the abdominal of Byrne. Bonito shoves Byrne out of the way, and Sean Byrne luckily lands on his feet in the ring. Unfortunately for Byrne, Bonito comes charging out of the corner and tackles him to the ground. With Sean on the mat, Bonito unloads some stiff forearm smashes on the challenger’s face before the referee separates him from Byrne.
RK: “Those were some vicious shots there by Bonito. The referee had to break it up before something else would have happened.”
Bonito and the referee argue before TB sets his eyes on the recovering Sean Byrne. He delivers a knee lift that lands on the side of Byrne’s face and the US champ rolls down to the mat holding his cheek. The crowd disapprovingly boos Bonito with his crude tactics while the champ shouts at Byrne to get up. Sean Byrne is on his feet and Bonito meets him with a couple of European uppercuts before he backs him into the ropes. Bonito sends Byrne to the other side of the ring. Byrne, with the bounce off the ropes, goes for a flying crossbody on the champ. It lands and Byrne gets the pinning on Bonito, if only for a second or two until the champ kicks out.
JR: “A close call there, King, Bonito almost got pinned automatically by Byrne.”
RK: “Both men are up, JR, and from the look on Bonito’s face I fear for Sean Byrne now.”
Indeed, an irate expression is drawn on the face of Bonito as he and Byrne lock up in the ring yet again. Byrne tries a side headlock on Bonito, but it’s quickly reversed into an overhead wrist lock by the champ. Both men struggle with the hold with Bonito adding more pressure and Byrne clawing his way out of the hold. Bonito uses the leg nearest to his opponent and uses it to trip Byrne face first into the mat. Bonito rolls himself up to a vertical base and waits for Byrne to get up before setting him up for a suplex. However, Byrne blocks the attempt and takes down Bonito with a snap suplex. Bonito gets to his feet and tries to deliver a clothesline, however, Byrne captures him and delivers a side-effect slam.
JR: “Shades of Matt Hardy right there, King, by Sean Byrne!”
RK: “Man that was one impressive slam to the mat, if I do say so myself.”
Both men momentarily stay on the mat while the fans start to chant for Byrne. Sean Byrne is the first man to get up and goes over to a recovering Tony Bonito. Sean captures him in a front face lock and lifts TB for a vertical suplex. He keeps TB on the air for a couple of seconds before he delivers a sit-down facebuster on the champion.
JR: “What a innovative move that was King! He converted that vertical suplex into a face crusher against Bonito.”
RK: “Impressive, JR, that’s all I can say about that.”
The Boston Rocker goes for the cover, but Bonito gets a shoulder up at 2. Byrne picks up Bonito and tries to whip him into the corner. However, TB reverses it and its Byrne who hits the turnbuckles. Bonito follows Byrne up with a vicious clothesline on the corner to incapacitate the US champ momentarily. Bonito delivers a couple of shoulder charges to the rib area of Byrne, but as he does, Byrne fights back with a club on Bonito’s back each time. Byrne delivers a double axe handle on the back of Bonito and it forces the champion to fall down on his knees.
RK: “Bonito just got downed by that mighty smash by the challenger, JR.”
JR: “Byrne tries to hoist Bonito to his feet, but what’s this?! Bonito grabs a hold of Byrne’s legs and trips him to the mat. He gets to a vertical base and catapults Sean Byrne from the corner.”
SB falls face first onto the mat after Bonito catapulted him off the mat. SB is lying on the mat while Tony Bonito ascends to the top turnbuckle.
JR: “Bonito is going airborne, King!”
RK: “He launches himself off the turnbuckles and connects with a beautiful moonsault! He hooks the leg: 1-2-and Byrne gets a last second kickout!”
Bonito gets to his feet and waits for Sean Byrne to get to his feet. He sneaks in behind Byrne and has him in a waistlock. Bonito sends Byrne down to the mat with a German suplex. He rolls himself and Byrne up yet again and connects with another German suplex. Yet again, both men up, and Bonito connects with the third and final belly-to-back German suplex on the US champion. Bonito gets up and shouts ‘woo’ to the crowd who showers Bonito back with their boos.
RK: “Bonito is feeling very confident right now JR after pulling his triple German suplexes.”
Bonito quickly gets his attention back at Byrne, who is pulling himself up on the other side of the ring. Bonito approaches Byrne and tries to grab him, but Byrne fights back with some hard punches to the gut. Byrne grabs Bonito by the head and delivers some punishing forearm smashes across the champion’s face. Bonito is backed on the ring ropes, but not for long as TB shoves Byrne out of the way. He tries to run at the US champ, but is taken down by a single leg takedown. Byrne floats over and delivers a sideheadlock, but it is seen as a huge gamble that did not pay off for Byrne. Soon enough, Bonito scrambles on the mat and releases himself from the side headlock and somehow slaps on a chicken wing crossface.
RK: “What in the world?! Did you just see how quick Bonito rolled around the mat and turned the tables on Byrne?”
JR: “Impressive! From being trapped in the headlock, Bonito got himself out and also applied the chicken wing!”
RK: “Somewhere in America, JR, Bob Backlund has a smile on his face. That, or he is reading his dictionary again to try and find new and odd words that he could digest.”
Sadly, the hold would be only momentary as Byrne uses one of his legs to place it on the nearby bottom ring rope. Bonito lets loose of Byrne and has an angered look on his face.
RK: “I dunno about you JR, but I think Bonito wanted to finish Byrne off right there.”
Bonito pulls off his straps and shakes his head before he approaches Byrne and grabs one of his legs. Before he can put on the ankle lock, however, Byrne kicks him out of the way. Byrne gets to his feet and sees Bonito charging for him. He uses Bonito’s momentum and tosses him over the top rope. Bonito crashes and burns on the outside while Sean Byrne looks at him from the ring. Bonito slowly gets to his feet on the outside of the ring and we see the US champ leaving through the ropes and standing on the ring apron. He waits for TB to get up completely before he jumps from the apron and takes him down with a double axe handle smash over the head.
JR: “Bonito just got crowned by Sean Byrne.”
RK: “Crowned? JR, please! No more ‘Ready to Rumble’ references. I think this place has enough already!”
Byrne leans on the apron while he waits for TB to get up. He approaches a recovering Bonito and tries to grab him, but Bonito has Byrne by the hair and delivers a savage headbutt. The move momentarily gives Byrne bouts of dizziness before he gets rolled back into the ring. TB slides back inside the X-WCW ring and stomps down on Byrne.
JR: “Bonito is doing some punishing kicks and stomps on the US champ right now.”
Bonito hauls Byrne up to his feet and delivers a few successive European uppercuts that backs the US champ into a corner. Once at the corner, Bonito continues the punishment on Byrne with some hard punches and kicks. Sean Byrne is lifted up to the top turnbuckle before Bonito goes there for a supelrplex. He has him all set up, but Sean Byrne blocks the attempt and delivers some punches to the side of Bonito.
JR: “Byrne is holding off on being superplexed on that corner, King.”
RK: “He’s struggling for his life there, JR, basically that’s how it is.”
Byrne gets out of the hold and grabs Bonito in a front face lock while both of them are on the corner. With Byrne sitting on the top turnbuckle and Bonito standing on the second ropes, Byrne delivers a couple of hard clubs to the back of Bonito. Finally, he launches himself off the corner and delivers a tornado DDT on Bonito. Both men are down on the mat and the referee starts to check up on them.
JR: “BYRNE PULLS OFF THE DESPERATION MOVE!!!”
RK: “Desperate times call for desperate measures, JR!”
Both men slowly get to their feet and start to exchange some hard punches with each other. Byrne gets the momentum going on his side as he delivers continuous punches to the face of Bonito. He sends Bonito bouncing off the ropes and catches him with a spinebuster. Tony Bonito slowly gets to his feet and Byrne tries to deliver a clothesline. Bonito avoids the clothesline and hits Byrne with a shot to the gut. Bonito bounces off the ropes and goes for a running crossbody but he is caught by Byrne. Byrne has Bonito on his grasps and he takes him down with a fallaway slam.
JR: “Fallaway Slam by Byrne and Bonito goes down!”
The fans cheer for Byrne a bit louder now as he waits for the champion to get to his feet. Tony Bonito gathers himself up to a vertical base and turns around to meet Byrne. Byrne catches him with a boot and tries to go for the attitude adjuster. Before he could convert it to his finisher, however, Bonito delivers a vicious elbow smash to the side of Byrne’s head. Byrne is groggy for a few seconds and it only takes this short of time for Bonito to sneak behind Byrne and slam him to the mat with the Nitoplex!
RK: “NITOPLEX OUTTA NOWHERE, JR!!! Haha! This sure is a pleasant surprise.”
Both men are down and a few seconds later we see Bonito crawling towards a fallen SB to cover him for the pin.
JR: “Here is the count: 1-2-thr…NO! SEAN BYRNE GETS HIS SHOULDER UP!!!”
The arena erupts with cheers as Byrne gets out of the pinning predicament. Bonito is livid and cannot agree with the referee’s count. He snarls out of frustration before he picks up Byrne and tries to send him into the corner. Byrne reverses it and its TB who hits the turnbuckles. Byrne makes a head-charge towards the corner and hits a hard clothesline that sends TB falling face first towards the mat. With TB down on the mat, Byrne points at the corner and ascends to it.
RK: “We’re about to see some high risk moves from Sean Byrne this time around JR!”
Byrne launches himself from the corner and tries a moonsault. However, he misses his mark when TB rolls out of the way. Byrne is on the ground seems to be outcold. Bonito rolls him so Byrne would lie on his back and pins him.
JR: “NO! Not like this, 1..2…3! It’s over folks and Bonito steals this victory.”
The bell rings and the referee raises the hand of Tony Bonito in victory.
THII: “The winner and STILL X-WCW World Heavyweight Champion, TONY BONITO!!!”
His music fills ringside, but we can hear the boos from the angry crowd. The boos only get louder when Bonito shakes off the referee’s hand from his wrist and locks in the ankle lock on Sean Byrne.
JR: “Oh look at the champ, locking that ankle lock like the match is still going on. He already got his win, he should just left Sean alone.”
RK: “C’mon now JR, don’t be like that. You’re taking about Sean like he’s your boyfriend or something.”
JR: “Whatever King. This unnecessary post-match display by Bonito is just repulsive, that’s all I have to say.”
Bonito locks on the ankle lock and gets flack from the crowd. Seconds later, “The Young One” Sandy Drake storms down to the ringside area with a chair. Bonito sees him and leaves the ring before something would happen to him. He snatches his two belts from the referee outside the ring and glares at TYO. TYO stares down at Bonito as the champion himself makes a slow exit from the ringside area.
JR: “Thank goodness for Sandy Drake. At least someone had the guts to come into the ringside area and stop Bonito’s atrocious plots for injuring Byrne again with that ankle lock.”
X-WCW goes to a commercial break as we see TYO helping Sean Byrne get to his feet. Before it fades to commercials completely, we see both men shaking hands.
Backstage
X-WCW goes back from the commercial break and we head over to the backstage area with Cole Ryan who is standing by with “The Renegade” Ron Michaels.
CR: “I’m here backstage with Revolution member, ‘The Renegade’ Ron Michaels. Last Nitro, you had a chance to win over Cane Deathscream, but fell short. How would you go over this match tonight?”
TRRM: “Nitro was one brutal for me, it was brutal because I lost. Now normally I don’t lose that way. Cane Deathscream, you got lucky that night, plain and simple. Now onto tonight’s match, it’s one match that has no gimmicks, no cages, no nothing. This is the kind of match that is conducive for me to kick some ass. Joe Goldstone, you might be looked up here in the X-WCW as an unstoppable force, but tonight you will be stopped by me.”
TRRM walks out of the interview screen as Warzone heads to a quick commercial break.
Joe Goldstone vs The Renegade Ron Michaels
X-WCW goes back to its regularly scheduled program and we hit ringside with Terri Hotbody II inside the wrestling ring.
THII: “The following match is scheduled for one fall.”
“Hurt” by Johnny Cash blares in the PA system and The Renegade Ron Michaels makes his presence in the ringside area. He enters to the jeers of the fans while he walks down the aisle.
THII: “Introducing first, he is a member of the revolution, THE RENEGADE RON MICHAELS!!!”
JR: “He said it himself, King, he wants to redeem himself from that loss he received at the hands of Cane Deathscream.”
RK: “His problem is, JR, Joe Goldstone doesn’t seem to be an easy obstacle to cross tonight. Hopefully The Renegade has a few tricks up his sleeve to get the upper hand in this encounter.”
TRRM slides into the ring and looks around the ringside to the fans who continue to boo the revolution member. He bounces up and down on the ring mat while he makes a dice rolling motion with his hands. TRRM waits patiently for his opponent to arrive and he does as “Down with the sickness” hits the speakers and Joe Goldstone makes his way through the curtains.
THII: “And his opponent, from parts unknown, JOE GOLDSTONE!!!”
Joe Goldstone is about to walk down the aisle but from behind he is attacked by a strange figure. That strange figure turns out to be Real American Rocky Davis!!!
JR: “Bah gawd! Rocky Davis just blindsided Joe Goldstone from behind!”
RK: “That shot with the IC title on the back of JG’s head must have took the steam right outta him.”
RA stomps down on JG as the crowd boos in protest. Goldstone slowly gets to his feet and eventually fights back RA with some hard punches of his own. Inside the ring, both the referee and TRRM look confused while they continue to watch the altercation going on at the ringside stage. Seconds later, a horde of referees enter ringside and restrain both RA and JG.
RK: “Thank goodness for the quick action of our X-WCW officials huh JR?”
JR: “You said it, Goldstone has to return to the ring so we can start this matc-OH GOODNESS!”
JG and RA both break off from their restraints and tackle each other. JG is the one who is on top of RA and pounds away with some hard punches. RA fights back and delivers a thumb to the eye of JG. Goldstone gets to his feet and RA does the same a few seconds later. JG sees RA charging towards him and catches the IC champ with a hard powerslam on the steel rampway.
RK: “That is surely going to hurt.”
Goldstone picks up RA and tosses him over the guard rail. With RA inserted into the crowd, JG enters the crowd as well. Joe Goldstone waits for Rocky Davis to get up and delivers some hard punches. Both men are now brawling into the crowd as the referee inside the ring shakes his head TRRM shrugs his shoulders and watches on. Seconds later, both men disappear into the sea of humanity and the referee calls off the match.
JR: “Well there you have it folks, RA attacked Goldsotne and this match is cancelled.”
RK: “Thankfully this is NOT our main event tonight. Up next, it’s the Baller Boyz vs John Crook and Powermaster. Oh boy JR, this is gonna be a historic main event.”
JR: “How so?”
RK: “First time we get to see if Crook can wrestle, or at least be smart enough to hide on his corner, HAHAHA! Man I can’t wait to see that.”
JR: “Folks we will take a short break, coming up next is our main event.”
X-WCW goes to a brief commercial break.
Tag Team Match
The Ballin Boyz vs John Crook & Powermaster
X-WCW Warzone enters back to your television screens for tonight’s main event.
THII: “The following is a tag team match and is scheduled for one fall!”
“Listen…”
“IT’S TIME!”
”You know its time for Revolution (IT’S TIME!)”
“I give it proper execution (TIME!)”
“Cause you’re a broken institution (IT’S TIME!)”
“And I’m a natural evolution”
The revolution theme song continues to hit the speakers as we see Powermaster Prime and John Crook enter the ringside area. John Crook, a man who X-WCW viewers usually see wearing a suit, is now wearing a black sleeveless shirt and some black jogging pants for his ring gear. PMP is still in his usual ring attire as both men make their way down the aisle. The fans boo the two revolution members as they make their way down to ringside.
THII: “Introducing first, they represent the Revolution, POWERMASTER PRIME AND JOHN CROOK!!!”
JR: “Welcome back ladies and gentlemen to Warzone! Right now we see the first team of this tag team contest making their way down the aisle. King, I know what to expect from PMP, but what do you think we can expect from John Crook?”
RK: “I dunno really, JR. Obviously I KNOW he never laced a pair of wrestling boots in his lifetime. However, for a suit, you gotta admit he looks in shape for this thing. He’s gonna be the wildcard if you believe me or not. In other words, it all depends on him if he knows how to hang with the rest of the boys cause PMP can’t carry this team against a former world champion and the former champ’s brother in that ring.”
Both Crook and PMP enter the ring and head on one corner of the ring. There, PMP and JC discuss with each other what seems to be their strategy for the upcoming match. Their music fades into the background, but soon enough it is replaced by “Hate it or Luv” by The game featuring 50 cent. The two Baller brothers show up ringside and the crowd is on their feet for the duo.
THII: “And their opponents, weighing in at a combined weight of 491 pounds, CJ Baller and Karl Baller…THE BALLIN BOYZ!!!”
The two Baller brothers make their way down to ringside and give out some high fives to the fans.
JR: “Karl Baller and CJ Baller, also known as the Ballin’ Boyz. We have seen Karl in competition for quite some time now, but a little known fact was he started out in the business by tagging with his brother CJ in the independent circuit. We can’t say these two haven’t been experienced in the ring with each other, King, we KNOW they are.”
RK: “Blood is thicker than water, JR. This is what this team has compared to some of the tag teams here in the X-WC, that blood tie they have with them. Add to the fact that KB is a former champ, I wonder how well these two would square off against PMP and Crook.”
CJ and Karl enter the ring and go on separate corners to pose for the fans. The crowd cheers them on before both men go back on the ring and do a high five with each other. Their music fades into the background and we see all four men inside the squared circle. PMP and CJ Baller would start the main event for the evening once the bell rings.
JR: “The match has started and CJ Baller and Powermaster Prime start things off.”
The standard collar-elbow tie-up is initiated and PMP gives a quick knee strike to the gut of CJ. PMP delivers two more knees to the gut region of CJ Baller before he sends him bouncing off the ropes. PMP tries for a clothesline but it’s ducked by CJ Baller. CJ bounces off the ropes and takes down his opponent with a flying forearm smash. He waits for PMP to get to his feet and lays him out with a nice dropkick to the face.
RK: “What a textbook dropkick there by CJ Baller on PMP.”
JR: “CJ Baller, the brute force of the Baller brothers is tangling right now in that ring with PMP. PMP, as we all may know already, is a seasoned tag team wrestler. Unfortunately for him and Bombshell, he cannot tag with him after losing that special match with Starstorm.”
RK: “Hey atleast he is using his expertise to help out John Crook. Then again John Crook seems to be doubtful of knowing a wrist lock from a wrist watch.”
PMP makes it to the corner and there he pulls himself up. CJ Baller anticipates PMP to get up and charges at the corner for a splash. However, CJ misses and hits the turnbuckle with his face. A stunned CJ Baller is taken down by PMP with a vicious lariat that also shook the ring.
JR: “CJ Baller takes a vicious lariat from Powermaster Prime!”
RK: “A leaf from Stan Hansen’s Book, JR! That was no regular clothesline indeed.”
PMP drags CJ Baller into his corner and surprisingly tags out to John Crook.
RK: “Oh boy, this is something I really wanna see right now. Let’s see if John Crook really knows how to fight it inside the ring.”
PMP holds CJ Baller in a front face lock while John Crook bounces off the ropes and delivers a vicious kick to the stomach of CJ. PMP lets go and CJ Baller rolls to the mat thanks to the hard kick by Crook. CJ is down and John Crook delivers the boots on his opponent. He picks up CJ Baller and delivers a couple of shots across the back of his opponent before tagging out to PMP. Both PMP and John Crook whip CJ Baller across the ropes and catches him with a double clothesline.
RK: “Haha, guess John Crook is a smart wrestler as he is a smart business man JR. He knows lasting inside the ring with someone like CJ Baller won’t benefit him in the long run.”
Crook heads back to his corner while PMP hauls up CJ Baller to his feet. He lifts CJ Baller and slams him immediately with a sidewalk slam. PMP hooks the leg for the cover, but CJ Baller gets a shoulder by the count of two. PMP waits for CJ Baller to get up before he tries to grab a hold of him. However, CJ Baller manages to get out of PMP’s clutches and hits some punches to the gut of his opponent before leveling him to the mat with a DDT. CJ Baller waits for PMP to get to his feet before he sends him back down with a gutwrench suplex.
RK: “Wow, look at the distance of that throw by CJ Baller.”
JR: “It was a strong move to make by the Baller sibling and now he tags out to Karl Baller!”
CJ and Karl pick up PMP before they back him into a corner. They deliver a couple of boots on his midsection before CJ sends PMP hitting the other side of the ring. KB follows PMP onto the corner and hits a dropkick right on the face of PMP. PMP slumps down after the dropkick by KB and CJ delivers another dropkick to the face of PMP before he leaves the ring. Karl Baller picks up PMP and delivers some knife edged chops to the man before he sends him bouncing across the ropes. PMP bounces off the ropes and KB initially leapfrogs over him. When it’s PMP’s second time to bounce off the ropes, KB charges at him and delivers a spinning leg scissors takedown to send his opponent to the mat.
JR: “Karl Baller, with the impressive leg scissors takedown sends his opponent to the mat.”
KB waits for PMP to get to his feet before he runs and goes for a spinning wheel kick. PMP ducks down in time and grabs a hold of KB. He delivers a back suplex on Karl Baller and both men hit the mat. Both PMP and KB get to their feet at the same time but PMP is there to take down Baller with a quick shoulder block. He picks up Karl Baller and is quick to deliver another sidewalk slam to the opposition. KB favors his back after that move and Powermaster Prime seems to capitalize on the idea right now by using a rear naked chinlock while he presses his knee to the back of his opponent.
RK: “He has KB in a very bad predicament JR. He is arching the chin of his opponent while at the same time pressing his kneecap onto the back of KB. This is gonna hurt unless PMP lets go or if KB can manage to reach for the ropes.”
PMP would take a full minute before he lets go of the move and pick up Karl Baller. He throws KB into the nearby corner and delivers some hard shoulder charges to the mid-region of KB. He backs up a few steps before he charges in with a running knee smash to the gut of KB. KB slumps down to the corner and PMP reaches in to tag out to John Crook. Crook and PMP stomp a mudhole on KB at the corner before they haul him up. They take him down to the mat with a double suplex and John Crook slaps the hand of PMP.
JR: “Guess this is a good tactic by John Crook and PMP. Just tag in Crook when PMP needs some help or some rest.”
RK: “I guess so, JR. John Crook might admit he is not a good wrestler, but I doubt he’d say he’s a pretty crappy strategist after taking his time in this match.”
Karl Baller attempts to get to his feet, but PMP is there to deliver a hard kick to his back to keep him down. The fans boo at PMP and start to chant for “Kay-bee!” PMP picks up KB, but Baller fights back with hard hitting jabs at the face of his opponent. He has PMP stunned before he heads to the ropes. With the bounce off the ropes, KB delivers a spinning forearm smash that takes down his opponent.
RK: “That had a nice spin to it huh JR?”
JR: “Sure did, King and PMP is getting to his feet right now. Karl Baller sees him up and takes him down this time with a dropkick right on the face of his opponent.”
KB waits for PMP to get to his feet and goes for a running crossbody block. PMP grabs him and delivers a desperation powerslam to send both men down the mat. Both men struggle to get to their feet as the crowd keeps on chanting for KB.
JR: “Powermaster Prime just hit a powerslam to take out the momentum of Karl Baller.”
RK: “I think it worked, JR. It slowed KB down and the pace of the match is anyone’s game now. Both men are crawling towards their corner to tag out.”
PMP is the first man to reach his respective corner and tags out to John Crook. JC runs towards KB and grabs him by the leg. However, before JC could pull him away, Karl Baller reaches in to tag out to CJ Baller. CJ hops over the ropes and catches Crook with a clothesline. John Crook gets to his feet and yet again is taken down by a clothesline. CJ Baller waits for John Crook to get to his feet before he locks him in a front face lock and sends him down with an high impact DDT.
JR: “DDT on John Crook, and he goes down! CJ Baller hooks the leg, 1-2-and PMP breaks up the pin.”
PMP stomps down on CJ Baller until KB comes in and starts attacking PMP. Powermaster Prime is backed into the ropes before KB clotheslines PMP and himself over the ropes and onto the outside. The referee’s attention is diverted on the mayhem PMP and KB are doing on the outside while in the ring, CJ gets up. He looks at KB and PMP too and it proves fatal as John Crook sneaks in for a low blow.
JR: “What a low down despicable move there by John Crook!”
RK: “Hey, he’s a smart man JR! He knew he can’t really lift CJ Baller up. Do YOU think he is that strong?”
JR: “Well…”
RK: “No. Of course John Crook isn’t that powerful!”
CJ Baller goes down and John Crook uses this opportunity to pin his opponent. The referee sees the pinfall being made and goes for the count.
RK: “The count is being made: 1-2-3! Haha! Oh my goodness, John Crook with PMP, has actually WON this match.”
The revolution entrance theme hits the speakers and John Crook gets his hand raised. PMP re-enters the ring while KB rolls his brother CJ out of the ring. Inside the ring PMP and JC gloat at their victory as KB and CJ Baller look on in disgust while they head up the ramp. However, the camera catches a glimpse of Starstorm, Josh Leyh and TRD running down the aisle and entering the ring. The 2-on-4 in the ring happens when Starstorm attacks PMP. John Crook, however, manages to avert the trouble and leaves the ring. With JC out of the ring, Josh Leyh and TRD go out to chase him around the ring. This buys enough time for the rest of the Revolution contingent who are Bombshell, The Renegade and Tony Bonito to go to ringside and even things out. TRRM clotheslines Josh Leyh while TRD is taken down by a chairshot on the face by Bombshell. Inside the ring Starstorm is still having its way on PMP until TB slides in and takes out Raven Darkstorm with a belly to back suplex.
JR: “The nTo tried to do a quick run-in on Crook and PMP but it seemed to have backfired!”
RK: “Yeah that’s true. I guess if you try to mess with the Revolution, they come back strong.”
Alec Lightstar realizes that backup has arrived but it’s too late as TB launches him out of the ring with a clothesline. Outside the ring, BS and TRRM drive off TRD and JL. Eventually, the Revolution populates the ring while the nTo scamper up the rampway.
RK: “Haha! Look at the once mighty nTo, JR! Without a leader I think they can’t stand up to the Revolution. So hopefully Chris Back comes in back in time or something. What the? JR! LOOK AT THE X-TRON!!!”
At the X-Tron, we see a mysterious tall man that garners the attention of the Revolution inside the ring. Eventually the mystery man speaks to all.
Man: “To reiterate what Cane said, at Ground Zero 4, the match of John Crook and Tony Bonito between Team XS will be a tag team throwdown match. To add to that however, all the members of the revolution will be banned from ringside and if they interfere Crook and Bonito would lose the match automatically!”
JR: “Oh my goodness! Revolution barred from the ringside?!”
RK: “If the stakes were high already, this just made it higher JR. The Revolution are hard pressed and do not know who Team XS is, and now they are in it for a tag team throwdown match while the other Revolution members are barred from the ringside area.”
JR: “Well folks that is all the time we have, for Randal King this is James Russell, GOOD NIGHT!”
X-WCW goes off the air as the Revolution look at each other inside the ring.
********COMMERCIAL********
We see a couple of footages from the past X-WCW shows such as Christopher Back raising the X-WCW World Title in the air to Otacon raising up the X-WCW UW title while he is on the top turnbuckle. There we hear the opening voice overs.
V.O.: “For over the past few years, the X-WCW has put on some of the most remarkable displays of professional wrestling.”
We see the Conseco Fieldhouse making a dazzling pyrotechnic display while the voice over creeps over.
