Backstage
The show starts off in The Revolution locker and we see everyone looking at John Crook, who is the lone member standing up and facing the group.
JC: “For the past few shows, our plan to take out the nTo, and Otacon were PERFECT! Everything worked according to plan. Sure, Baller still has the title after Nitro #23, but that is an entirely different matter. Another thing, the main event for Starrcade: REVOLUTION, will be announced soon enough and I am telling you guys it will be to our benefits.”
Every member of the Revolution nod in agreement and mumbles a few worlds before we hear JC again.
JC: “I have contacted some help from the outside of the X-WCW. He’ll be arriving by the time Starrcade hits. I guarantee you Tony; you will be leaving that place as the champion. But tonight, you got a match at the start of the show, you know what to do.”
The camera zooms in on a very focused-looking Tony Bonito who rises up from his bench and makes his way out of the locker room. The footage fades and we cut to the usual X-WCW Warzone introduction.
After the video package, we go to ringside where the stage pyros are set off and the capacity crowd comes alive. The camera pans over to the announcer’s desk and they show James Russell and Randal King.
JR: “WELCOME EVERYONE TO ANOTHER EDITION OF WARZONE! This is James Russell alongside me here is Randal King and we are coming at you live from the United Center in Chicago Illinois.”
RK: “The NBA season might have been over for this town for weeks, JR, but WRESTLING season I doubt it would end this year.”
JR: “Tonight we got a big mian event that pits the current champion Karl Baller against Otacon and the winner of this following match.”
The winner will be the 3rd Man in the Main Event
Sean Byrne vs. Tony Bonito
RK: “The Boston Rocker Sean Byrne vs Boston Massachusetts’ own Tony Bonito. As you can see, both men hail from the same state but I doubt they’d be willing to use that sole fact as a means for peace JR. As known after Nitro, both Byrne and Bonito have been pissed off by different reasons. This match is just for both men to vent each other out and eventually the winner just gets a shot at tonight’s main event.”
JR: “Indeed so, King. Sean Byrne was irate days after he was assaulted by RNR after the tag team match while Tony Bonito was so close as to winning the title from Karl Baller. Both men know they wanna beat somebody up tonight, the question is, who will go on top after this match?”
“Iron Man” by Ozzy Osbourne hits the speakers and Sean Byrne comes out with the X-WCW US title in tow. The fans are on their feet and cheer for their US champ while THII does the introductions.
THII: “The following match is scheduled for one-fall. Introducing first, he is the current X-WCW United States Champion…’The Boston Rocker’ SEAN BYRNE!!!”
Sean Byrne makes his way down the rampway and hands out some high fives to the nearby crowd members.
JR: “Sean Byrne, the current United States champion. He won that title in a hard fought match against then US champ Karl Baller. Last time we saw KB in action, he successfully defeated Tony Bonito.”
RK: “So what your implying here, JR, is that if Sean can beat Baller…he can beat Bonito? You got to be kidding me, you’re giving Byrne WAY too much credit. I think Karl Baller, out of good will, really just laid down for his friend here.”
JR: “If I am guilty of such, King, I deem you guilty of denying him the fact that he DID win over Karl Baller. Sean Byrne has passion, guts, and courage to stand up to people like the Revolution.”
RK: “Guess your right, JR, he has guts…more guts than brains.”
JR: “Ugh, clearly it seems your so biased against him.”
Byrne enters the ring and unbuckles his US title. He makes his way to the top turnbuckle and raises his belt up high with both hands. The fans continue to cheer for Byrne as he poses for them at the corner. Eventually, he steps down from the corner and hands his belt to the referee. All of a sudden, the cheers turn to boos as “Fury of the storm” plays around ringside. Tony Bonito makes his presence felt as he goes out of the curtains and stands on the stage for a peculiar amount of time before pointing upwards to signal the red, white, and blue pyros on the stage. Finally, he makes his way towards the ring while THII gives the introduction.
THII: “And his opponent, from Boston Massachusetts, TONY BONITO!!!”
JR: “Tony Bonito, out of spite or something, has challenged Sean Byrne to this match. On the surface it seems like Bonito has a lot to gain here in this match by taking out his frustration on the US champ since he CANNOT beat the World Champion. On the other hand, you can see that it is actually Bonito who has a LOT to lose in this match.”
RK: “What do you mean JR?”
JR: “No matter how technically savy Bonito is, he gave his spot for tonight’s main event, dangled it in the air just for Byrne to accept this match with him. If Bonito should lose, not only would be lose some of his ego but also lose a potential shot tonight for the X-WCW World Title. Byrne did NOT put his title on the line here, so win or lose, he still comes out with atleast something. Bonito, on the other hand, if he loses it might be the swan song of his career here in the X-WCW.”
Bonito climbs up the ring steps and eventually enters the ring. He does his pre-match spin inside the ring and poses for the fans who not ONLY boo him but now chant “Nito Sucks!” His entrance music gets cut and a few seconds later the bell rings to start off the contest.
JR: “The bell rings to start this match. Both men make their way to the center of the ring, the tension is high King that you can cut it with a knife.”
Both men grapple in the middle of the ring and its Bonito who gets the initial advantage going behind Sean Byrne and locking him in a waistlock. Byrne hits some hard elbows to the face of Bonito and does a standing switch. With Byrne now behind Bonito, Bonito takes his opponent down with a snapmare. With Byrne grounded, Tony Bonito locks in a headlock on the US champ. Sean Byrne slowly gets to his feet and hits some elbow shots to the mid-section of Bonito in hopes of letting him go. Byrne gets free from the headlock and tries to go to the ropes, but Bonito catches him and sends him down the ring. Byrne holds the back of his head while Bonito rolls him up and makes him lie stomach first on the mat. Bonito mounts on top of Byrne and delivers some hard slaps around the head region of Sean Byrne before he rolls out of his opponent.
RK: “Bonito is basically just schooling Byrne right now, JR.”
JR: “There is no question about Bonito’s technical prowess, King.”
Bonito waits for Byrne to get up before catching him with a hard kick in the gut and takes him down with a double underhook suplex. Byrne slowly gets to his feet and Bonito has him in his grasps for a belly to belly suplex. But before he could, Sean Byrne delivers a nasty headbutt that forces Bonito to let him loose and deliver a hard haymaker right in the jaw of the Real F’n Olympian.
JR: “Sean Byrne just sent Bonito to the mat hard with that punch!”
RK: “I could feel it from here, JR!”
Bonito gets hauled to his feet by Byrne who delivers two more headbutts to his opponent before backing him into the corner. Bonito is on the corner and Sean Byrne hits him with a couple of shoulder charges to the mid-section. Bonito slumps down on the corner and Byrne goes over there for a missile dropkick. Bonito rolls out of the ring just in time and Byrne misses his mark. Before Byrne could get to his feet, Bonito grabs one of his legs from the outside and pulls him near the ring post. There, he slams the side of the leg hard on the ring post which draws the scream of agony from Byrne and the resentment from the crowd.
JR: “That was a despicable move by Tony Bonito!”
RK: “Ah quit moaning, JR! Sean Byrne headbutted him and I didn’t hear a peep out of you!”
Bonito slides back into the ring and grabs the leg of Byrne. He delivers some kicks to the leg he damaged earlier and soon applies a single leg crab on the US champion. Sean Byrne struggles his way out of the move by reaching for the nearby ropes. The referee forces TB to break the submission move and it leaves Bonito in a huff of displeasure. Bonito waits for Sean Byrne to make his way to a vertical base before he attacks the same leg with a diving chop block. Byrne hits the mat yet again and holds his hurt leg.
RK: “Wow, Bonito is relentlessly attacking that leg of Byrne.”
JR: “Bonito’s instincts are telling him to attack that single part of the body, King. He seems to be methodical approach in this match it seems.”
Bonito pulls Byrne up and goes for a suplex. However, Sean Byrne surprises him by rolling him to the mat with an inside cradle.
JR: “The pinfall is made..1…2…KICKOUT!”
RK: “That was a close one for Bonito.”
Both men get to their feet and Byrne sends Bonito down with a stiff clothesline. Bonito gets to his feet and falls down yet again with a clothesline from the US champion. Byrne picks up Bonito and sends him into the ropes before catching him with a hiptoss. The fans are riled up as Byrne shouts “COME ON!” at the recovering Bonito. An irate Bonito obliges and tries to deliver a clothesline which is avoided by Byrne. Byrne delivers a forearm to the back of Bonito before he lines him up for a reverse DDT. Somehow, Bonito spins around and delivers a Fisherman’s suplex bridge instead.
JR: “Bonito with the reversal and pin 1..2…Byrne gets a kick out before it’s too late!”
Bonito is first to get on his feet while Byrne struggles to do so. Bonito tries to grab him, but Byrne shoves him out of the way. Bonito runs towards Byrne who catches him with a devastating powerslam that just shook the ring to its foundation. He grabs Bonito and hauls him up, but Bonito hits a hard kick to his leg and makes a run for it at the other side of the ring. Byrne momentarily goes down on one knee while Bonito is on the other side. Bonito bounces off the ropes and tries to do a crossbody block, but Byrne catches him and lines him up for a fallaway slam.
JR: “Fallaway slam by Byrne and Bonito goes down!”
Byrne gets to his feet and the crowd soaks him with “Rocker!” chants. He pulls up Bonito and tries to whip him into the ropes, but it is reversed. Byrne bounces off the ropes while Bonito looks for a back body drop on the way back. To his dismay, Byrne comes back and delivers a kick to the sternum before pulling him in between his legs. He lifts him up on his shoulders for the Rocker Bomb but Bonito delivers a hard axe handle smash over he head of Byrne. This sends Byrne out of balance and he falls down with Bonito on him. Bonito hooks up one leg of Byrne for the pinfall attempt but the US champ kicks out before the count of one.
RK: “He attempted the rocker bomb there, JR, but I think his legs can’t hold that much weight after one of them got banged up badly by Bonito. You can see right now as Byrne gets to his feet, his left leg is struggling to stay on a vertical base.”
Both men get to their feet and Byrne is quick to try and punch Bonito. Bonito ducks down and slips behind his opponent. Before Byrne could fight back, Bonito grabs him from behind and delivers a German suplex. Bonito scrambles back to his feet with Byrne in tow before delivering a second German suplex. Bonito attempts for a third German suplex on his way up but Byrne somehow manages to switch behind Bonito and takes him down with a German suplex of his own.
JR: “Bah gawd, Sean Byrne just delivered a German suplex on Bonito!”
RK: “He can do that, JR, so I think he can deliver it with the best of them.”
Both Byrne and Bonito slowly get to their feet. Byrne is near the ropes while Bonito is in the center of the ring. Bonito charges at Byrne, but the US champ sends him over the top ropes and to the outside of the ring. Bonito tries to get to his feet, but as soon as he does, Byrne launches himself from the ring ropes with a rope flip and crash lands on Bonito.
JR: “Byrne just floored Bonito with that high risk maneuver!”
The fans cheer while both men are laid out in the outskirts of the ring. The referee inside the ring starts to count the two men who show a few signs of motion. By the count of 5, both men get to their feet and its Bonito who grabs Byrne for a knee to the gut. He delivers another knee to Byrne’s mid-section before rolling him back into the ring. Bonito follows him back into the ring and stalks his prey. Sean Byrne slowly gets to his feet and Bonito is just waiting behind him, ready to pounce.
JR: “Bonito is just eyeing Byrne like he is a piece of meat, King.”
RK: “He is going for the kill, JR, I know it.”
JR: “Sean Byrne is on his feet and Bonito goes in for the Nitoplex!”
However, Sean Byrne rolls off from Bonito’s grasps midair and goes on all fours at the mat. Byrne is quick to get up before Bonito could turn around to his direction. Before Bonito could react, Byrne grabs him and sends him down to the mat with the Final Cutter!
JR: “FINAL CUTTER OUT OF NOWHERE!!!”
RK: “NO!!!”
Bonito is down on the mat and seems to be not moving while Byrne crawls his way over to his opponent.
JR: “This could be it, King! In mere moments Sean Byrne will get a shot at the World title. The cover: 1-2-NO! Bonito gets a shoulder up!”
RK: “A very miraculous thing happened tonight! TESTIFY!”
Byrne gets to his feet and tries to get bonito, but Bonito grabs his left leg and trips him down to the mat. Bonito rises up and locks Sean Byrne’s semi-injured leg in an ankle lock.
JR: “BONITO HAS BYRNE ON THE ANKLE LOCK!”
RK: “This is as good as over, JR!”
Bonito shouts while Byrne struggles to fight off the pain. Byrne tries to crawl his way towards the ropes, but before he could reach it, Bonito draws him back to the center of the ring. Byrne uses his free leg to kick Bonito’s face, but it does not deter his foe who lies on his back and applies more pressure to the leg of Sean Byrne. The camera focuses on the reddened face of the US champ who continues to fight the pain being delivered by Tony Bonito.
JR: “Sean Byrne has a lot of heart, even right now he STILL doesn’t want to tap out.”
RK: “He better tap out soon or his ankle would snap. I know he has less to lose, but in the long run, he might have more to lose than gain in this match if he doesn’t tap out soon enough.”
After a whole minute stuck in the ankle lock, Sean Byrne taps the mat furiously to signal the end of the match. The referee calls for the bell for Bonito’s submission victory.
THII: “The winner of this match by submission, TONY BONITO!!!”
The referee tells Bonito to break up the submission. Unfortunately, Bonito would continue to lock in the submission hold for a few more seconds before he eventually lets go. Bonito rises up to his feet and raises both arms in the air while his music blares over the speakers. The fans boo at him relentlessly while he continues his post-match victory celebration inside the ring. The camera peers over Sean Byrne who holds his leg in pain while we hear the announcers speak off-screen.
JR: “It was one intense battle, King. But in the end, Tony Bonito was the winner of the contest.”
RK: “I told you JR, he would win this match, and damn it he did!”
JR: “Sean Byrne might not have won; however, he has shown a lot of courage and fortitude before finally giving up to the painful maneuver.”
Bonito leaves the ring and makes his way up the rampway. He turns around and faces the ring before he lifts both arms in the air and screams out “YEAH!” He eventually makes his exit from ringside and we go back to see Sean Byrne being helped up by the referee. With Bonito’s music being cut, we hear numerous chants for Sean Byrne throughout the arena.
JR: “The fans are showing their appreciation for the X-WCW US champion who fought is all tonight.”
RK: “More like sympathy cheers to me, JR.”
JR: “Whatever. We gotta go to a commercial break, more Warzone when we come back!”
X-WCW cuts to commercials as Sean Byrne makes his way backstage with the fans still cheering for the US champ.

X-WCW TV Championship
Greg Barfia vs The Young One Sandy Drake ©
We go to ringside and we see Terri Hotbody II already inside the ring.
THII: “LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, THE NEXT MATCH IS SET FOR ONE FALL WITH A 20 MINUTE TIME LIMIT AND IS FOR THE X-WCW TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP! INTRODUCING FIRST THE CHALLENGER, FROM SAN DIEGO CALIFORNIA, GREG BIAFRA!”
The crowd begins to boo as "I Want to Conquer the World" by Bad Religion burst through the loudspeakers. Greg Biafra pushes through the curtains, fully grunged out and cocky as ever. He starts to pose and then jesters a "screw it" to the fans. He makes his way down to the ring and then jumps up to the outside apron, before quickly entering through the ropes and throwing his hands into the air in the middle of the ring. He begins pacing as the announcer prepares to announce the champion's arrival.
JR: We haven't seen him in quite some time King. I wonder if the ring rust will be a factor.
RK: Who is this again JR?
THII: “AND INTRODUCING HIS OPPONENT, HE IS THE X-WCW TELEVISION CHAMPION, "THE YOUNG ONE" SANDY DRAKE!”
"Top of the World" by the All American Rejects hits the speakers as the fans begin to cheer for the champion. Drake enters through the curtains, posing on the stage with the title around his waist, before looking out and connecting with the crowd. He slaps hands on the way down, even getting up in the camera for a second to say "This is gonna be a 1-2-3 contest!" before hoping up the steps and mounting the turnbuckles. Atop the turnbuckle he removes the belt, holding it up for all to see before jestering to his challenger that "i'm the champ and you're not" and finally handing the belt over to the ref.
RK: Cocky as ever JR. You think thats ever gonna be his downfall?
JR: I reckon so King. Many a man in this sport has fallen from grace due to an inflated ego.
The ref raises the title for all to see before turning and handing the belt off and signaling for the bell. As the bell sounds Biafra charges Drake, running head first into a powerslam that leaves him quickly on the mat. Drake pops to his feet and climbs the side ropes looking at the fans and asking what he's doing in the ring with this guy. Turning back around he walks over and gives him a couple soft, mocking kicks to the head as he looks down on the challenger. Grabbing Biafra by the hair he brings him up and hooks him for a beautiful vertical suplex, keeping the hold, lifting him once again and twisting him around for a neckbreaker. Landing flat on his butt, Drake looks out into the crowd once more, shaking his head, completely confused on how this guy got a title shot. Feigning a yawn, he leans back across his opponent for a pin, but Biafra quickly locks Drakes arms and rolls him over and onto his shoulders for a pin. 1-2- Drake kicks through, breaking the pin and getting back to his feet where he burst forward dropping a legdrop across the skull of the challenger. Angry, Drake gets to his feet and begins viciously stomping his opponent into the mat. Lifting him to his feet, he measures him before hitting a standing dropkick to the jaw of Biafra. Biafra hits the mat, pops back up and is immediately clotheslined over the ropes and to the floor. Drake waits for Biafra to begin to regain his feet before using the opposite ropes for momentum and charging towards the ropes nearest Biafra, leaping to the top rope and springboarding off and into a shooting star press to the outside. Biafra sides steps, and pushes Drake to the barrier, face first leaving the champ dazed and in pain. Seizing the moment he lifts the champ, sending a couple shots his way before throwing him back into the ring. Rolling in behind him he grabs Drake by the hair, brining him to his feet before grabbing an arm and starting to whip him to the corner.
JR: Hmm, maybe Biafra has some fight in him after all.
RK: Ehh, i'm still not so sure JR. I'll hold judgement till after the match.
As Biafra whips the champ towards the corner, Drake reverses it sending the challenger chest first into the turnbuckles and staggering backwards from the corner. As Biafra turns, face contorted in pain, he is met with a face full of A.B.B., right to the kisser. The patented superkick leaves the challenger flat on his back as Drake shakes off the barrier hit and the few shots and rushes towards the ropes, leaping to the top and shooting backwards into Drakes other finisher the "Fountian of Youth".
JR: MY GOSH! THE AGE BEFORE BEAUTY INTO A FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH! THIS COULD BE IT FOLKS!
RK: HERE IS GOES JR!
The ref drops to the ground and begins the count. 1-2-3! The ref looks over, signalling for the bell as the champ takes his belt back and gives a "come the hell on" look to the crowd.
THII: “LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, YOUR WINNER OF THE MATCH, "THE YOUNG ONE" SANDY DRAKE!”
Sandy walks over to the announcer and jester's for the mic. The announcer looks at him and just shrugs before handing it over and stepping back. Drake gives him a look of appreciation and then turns back to the fans and then up the ramp and towards the back.
SD: Ok, come the hell one! What was that? I know the talent pool didn't dry up around here. Listen, i'm just gonna go ahead and put this out there. I'm issuing an open challenge to anyone in the back. ANYONE, who thinks they can give me a real match at Starrcade. So...next contestant, come on down.
With that he lowers the mic and leans back against the ropes to wait. The wait is short as "Bullet with a Name on it" by Nonpoint blows forth through the speakers and Mike Magnus steps through the curtains, wearing street clothes and a mic already in hand. Smiling at "The Young One" he announces his acceptance.
MM: Sandy Drake...Young One. I ACCEPT! I'll see you at Starrcade!
With that Magnus's music blares again as he motions for gold around his waist to the fans. Magnus poses for the fans as the camera turns to Drake who is still in the ring, title raised with an amused smile on his face as the camera fades to black and X-WCW takes a commercial break.
********COMMERCIAL********
We see a black and white footage of Tony Bonito standing in the middle of a wrestling ring. The ringside area is barren while TB looks up. The camera zooms in closely to Bonito who is wearing his usual red, white, and blue hooded sports jacket before we hear a voice over.
TB Voice Over: “Since I was young, I always worked my butt off…”
The video shows various clips of Tony Bonito lifting weights and doing some squats inside a gym before we go back inside the ring and see him shadow wrestling.
TB V.O.: “I’ve competed for almost all of my life…”
We see footage of Tony Bonito wearing a USA jacket and a red headgear on his not yet bald head. It skips to a footage where Tony Bonito is inside the X-WCW ring and locks up with a random jobber.
TB V.O.: “And in most cases…”
The video package shows Tony Bonito delivering the Nitoplex to Otacon and then it cuts to a clip where he slaps on the ankle lock on someone who cannot be seen.
TB V.O.: “I won…and then some.”
The video shows Bonito getting his hand raised by a referee and it transitions into a clip of Bonito raising up the X-WCW US title from the corner. We go back in the ring where Bonito leans on the ropes and looks at the empty stands.
TB V.O.: “But nothing…”
The video shows Bonito hitting the nitoplex on D-Extreme.
TB V.O.: “Compares…”
We now see a clip of Bonito shoving the ladder where Cyberstrike and Eamon X are located. The clip fades to black and we go back to Bonito smirking.
TB V.O.: “…to what this event brings.”
The footage fades to black before we see the logo of Starrcade Revolution.

Corva Corax vs Rayne Bloodstone
We go back to the ringside area where “Whisper” by Evanesance plays and Rayne Bloodstone comes out to the ringside area. The fans give her a mixed reaction as she makes her way down the rampway.
THII: “The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a 20 minute time limit. Making her way to the ring, from Japan…RAYNE BLOODSTONE!!!”
JR: “Here comes Rayne Bloodstone, King.”
RK: “She is hot, JR! But the problem is she tends to be on the creepy side due to her association with Nightmare.”
JR: “We can recall last show Nightmare snapped and threatened Rayne herself that if she ever helps him again..he’d harm her.”
RK: “Harm, for Nightmare, is a scary word.”
Rayne enters the ring and slumps down on the nearby corner as she waits for her opponent. Inside the ring, we notice a new X-WCW referee. The big difference is this referee seems to be a LADY!
RK: “Hey JR! Look at that ref! Is she new here?”
JR: “From the looks of it, King, she looks like she is new.”
RK: “Haha! I cant wait to meet that hot momma after this match.”
Nymphetamine by Cradle of Filth plays in the background when Corva Corex makes her way through the curtains.
THII: “And her opponent, from the bowelry…CORVA COREX!!!”
Corva makes her way down while the fans boo the X-WCW diva.
RK: “I do not know why they are booing her, but she seems quite ok to me JR! She might be rough, but I like it when chicks do it rough.”
JR: “Enough already, King! The match hasn’t even started and your at it already!”
RK: “At it with what?”
JR: “OH NEVERMIND!”
Corva gets into the ring and poses for the fans at one corner while her music continues to play. Corva’s entrance music fades out and she climbs down from the corner and spins around to see Rayne Bloodstone getting up from the opposite side of the ring. The bell rings and both women make their way towards the center. Before both of them could grapple, the female referee attacks Rayne Bloodstone with a sharp kick to the side of the head. Corva gets surprised with that attack and soon she is also hit by the same kick by the referee.
JR: “HOLD THE DAMN PHONE! What the hell is going on here King?”
RK: “I don’t have any clue!”
The female referee, after seeing the damage, pulls out what seems to be her hair and shows her real hair. She reveals herself to be Absinthe from Fragile Minds and the fans boo at the supposed referee.
JR: “ABSINTHE?!”
RK: “Oh my goodness JR! Three hot women inside the ring! But sadly, all for the wrong intentions!”
JR: “Sad to say, King, but your right. Now what is this all about? Fragile Minds is making their way down the rampway!”
Vanish and Thornn get into the ringside area with a couple of steel chairs and slide into the ring. Vanish sees Rayne recovering and he hits her back with a hard smack of the chair. She falls down like a ton of bricks while Corva Corex is the next to get to her feet. Corva is up, and Thornn swings the chair that connects her face. She falls on her back and holds her face after the hard impact from the chairshot.
JR: “This is just too much! Absinthe already made a point by kicking both women, that was enough already! This is not right, King!”
RK: “Oh I know what your saying JR, this is wrong, damn wrong!”
Before any more damage could be done, we see Jake and Ken Hunter running down the rampway with a couple of bats. Vanish and Thornn leave the ring and the Hunter Brothers chase them through the crowd. Inside the ring, Absinthe is still there with the 2 women, that is until we see a crazed Nightmare running down the rampway and entering the ring.
RK: “OH NO! The lunatic is back!”
Nightmare glares at Absinthe for a while before he tries to charge at her. Absinthe makes a smart decision and hops out of the ring to flee for her life. The crazed Nightmare looks around the ring and sees a recovering Rayne Bloodstone. Bloodstone is up and notices Nightmare is in the ring.
RK: “DAMN IT RAYNE! GET OUTTA THERE!”
Rayne Bloodstone looks at Nightmare with confusion as the deranged man just glares at his associate. After the brief staredown, Nightmare leaves the ring without any words.
JR: “Nightmare seemed poised on wreaking havoc inside the ring, but somehow backed out at the last minute. Strange behavior there from the former X-WCW Xtreme Champion if I do say so myself.”
RK: “You got it right JR, he is nuts!”
JR: “Well folks, we will have a brief commercial break. More Warzone after these following messages from our sponsors!”
X-WCW cuts to commercials while it shows Rayne Bloodstone looking at the rampway to watch Nightmare make his way to the backstage area.
Backstage
X-WCW goes to the backstage area where we see Rocky Davis talking to The Lost Boys. We do not hear the earlier words, but as the camera gets closer, we finally get some audio.
RA: “So tonight, you two better get it done! Carnage Inc. will bow down to NO ONE! I don’t care if I am good friends with Tony Bonito, who seems to be the head of this Revolution, but you both know how I hate those two idiots in RNR. Those big headed bimbo asswipes will see their belts for the last time, and you will make sure of it.”
Rocky Davis pauses and gives both men a stern look before asking.
RA: “RIGHT?”
Both men look at him and nod before Davis smirks and does a group hug.
RA: “HAHAH! That’s what I like to see.”
He pats them both on the back and sends them off. The Daniels brothers leave the locker room and go towards the ringside while the camera focuses on Davis’ face. Just then, his proud smile turns into a sour look as we hear the door creaking open off-screen. The camera zooms out and we get a shot of Joe Goldstone. Both men stare at each other for a few short seconds before Goldstone speaks.
JG: “Hey, Mr. All American, just dropped by to say that on Doubleshot it will be you and me on opposing sides. It’s going to be a 6-man tag team match and I can’t wait to beat the s*** out of you!”
Rocky Davis looks at Goldstone with disgust before he speaks.
RA: “So that’s all you’re here for Goldbone?”
JG shakes his head before delivering a hard punch right at the face of RA. RA falls hard on the ground before JG responds.
JG: “Nope. I’m also here to give THAT as a little preview for our tag match. See you at Doubleshot, Chump!”
JG leaves RA’s locker room as the Carnage Inc. leader gathers himself up.
X-WCW Tag Team Championship
RNR(c) vs The Lost Boys
We go back to ringside where Terri Hotbody II is inside the ring and holding a microphone.
THII: “The following tag team contest is for the X-WCW Tag Team Championship!”
JR: “Welcome back to Warzone! Right now, we will feature an X-WCW Tag Team Title match. The winner of this match will be the champions heading into Starrcade and will be defending it against whoever wins the match later tonight in that fatal 4-way tag team match.”
RK: “It’s sweeps night for all the tag team here in the X-WCW, JR. Whoever gets the win here tonight, both of those teams will be at Starrcade for a title match. Just being in Starrcade and having a title match is just the same as main eventing any other X-WCW PPV in my opinion. In other news, boy did Rocky Davis just got punked out with that segment by Joe Goldstone don’t you think so JR?”
JR: “I somewhat agree on you, King. Joe Goldstone sent a powerful message to his opponent at Starrcade.”
“Feed My Frankenstein” fills the arena with the Lost Boys making their way into the ringside area. The fans boo the brotherly duo of Mike and Mark Daniels as they make their way down the ramp.
THII: “Introducing first, Carnage Inc. members Mike and Mark Daniels…THE LOST BOYS!!!”
JR: “Now the Lost Boys are one of the X-WCW’s tag team..”
RK: “But it seems they cannot win unless they get an assist from a dil..”
JR: “King, I doubt we got the permission to even utter that word.”
RK: “What? We don’t?”
JR: “Last that I heard, the X-WCW BoD banned that reference..so let’s leave something in the past what needs to be left in the past.”
RK: “Well, now you’re just being redundant.”
Mike and Mark Daniels enter the ring and go on opposite sides of the ring to pose to the not so pleased audience. They head towards the center of the ring and do a high five on each other. Their music fades out and all of a sudden, the lights dim at ringside. The footage at ringside goes onto wide-screen mode while the drumbeats of “Filmstar” by Suede starts to play in the PA system. Soon enough, the guitar riffs fills in as the strobe lights are also happening at the ringside. The duo of R.E. Rage and Brett Rayne enters the ringside area to a louder round of boos.
Filmstar, propping up the bar, driving in a car, it looks so easy,
Filmstar, propping up the bar, driving in a car tonight,
Filmstar, giving it class, living it fast, it looks so easy,
Filmstar, giving it class, living it fast tonight
R.E. Rage and Brett Rayne are wearing black leather jackets and shades on the stage while the X-WCW Tag Team belts are both on their waists. The ring crew rolls a red carpet down the ramp. As the carpet is eventually completed, the two men walk down the ramp while the crowd boos loudly at them.
THII: “And their opponents at a combined weight of 475 lbs, they are the current X-WCW Tag Team Champions…the team of R.E. Rage and Brett Rayne..R-N-R!!!”
RK: “Now JR, these are two men that I am proud to say are the perfect representation of what a tag team should be. They got it all, the looks, the talent, and importantly the gold itself!”
JR: “There is no doubt in everyone’s mind that RNR won those belts from Starstorm fair and square. But sometimes, they just draw the ire of the fans and myself included with their arrogance and their antics as of late.”
Rage and Rayne enter the ring and go on separate corners. Once both men climbed their respective corners, Rage poses for the fans and pats his belt while Brett Rayne unbuckles his and raises it up in the air ala The Rock. The fans continue their bombardment of boos for the tag team champs as both men climb down from their respective corners. They hand their belts to the referee before heading to their side of the ring.
RK: “This match looks a bit one-sided if you ask me, JR. The Lost Boys are a good tag team but I doubt they can hang with the big boys of RNR.”
JR: “It’s too early to tell that King. The match hasn’t even started yet.”
RK: “Even though, there is something telling me they wont last that long.”
The music of RNR is cut and the bell rings to start off the match. Mike Daniels and R.E. Rage are the first two men inside the ring and gather towards the center. Rage lifts one of his arm slowly into the air and signals Mike a test of strength challenge. Mike Daniels complies and grabs the arm in the air. With one hand locked, it seems like Rage will lock the other hand soon enough as he slowly lifts it in the air. However, Rage delivers a hard boot to the gut of Mike Daniels. Daniels goes on one knee and Rage laughs at him before slapping his head a couple of times. The crowd boos at Rage’s cheap tactic and chant “Ricky Sucks”
RK: “They may not have liked that, but I sure enjoyed Rage making an ass out of that guy.”
Rage helps Mike get to his feet before he clubs him on the back a couple of times. He attempts to send him onto the ropes but it is reversed. Mike Daniels goes for a clothesline but Rage ducks down to avoid it. Mike Daniels turns around only to be met by a hard forearm to the face by Rage. Stunned, Mike Daniels is powerless to reverse a snap suplex that R.E. Rage delivers to send him to the mat. Mike Daniels is pulled up to his feet by Rage and hits the corner after Rage whips him there. Rage charges at Mike Daniels at the corner and connects with a clothesline.
JR: “Rage comes charging down and delivers a devastating clothesline on Mike Daniels at the corner.”
RK: “Mike is still hanging out at the corner, JR, with Rage seemingly going to the apron that cant be good!”
R.E. Rage is on the apron and makes his way to the corner where Mike Daniels is stationed at. Rage climbs to the second turnbuckle and has Mike Daniels in his grasps. Within an instant, he sends the man to the mat face-first with a corner rocker dropper.
JR: “Vintage R.E. Rage right there with a corner rocker dropper on Mike Daniels.”
RK: “Haha! It’s been a while since he done that.”
Rage covers Mike Daniels for the pin, but even before the referee could count, Rage pulls his opponent from the pin he made himself. He slaps Mike Daniels on the face and smirks before he lifts his opponent up. He goes towards his corner and tags out to Brett Rayne. Rage places Mike Daniels on his shoulder before he drops him face first onto the turnbuckle for the ‘snake eyes’. Daniels turns around and walks into a belly to belly slam by Brett Rayne. Brett Rayne goes for the pin and the referee begins the count.
RK: “Brett has him covered..1…2…and Daniels gets a shoulder up.”
Brett Rayne looks confused before he picks up Mike Daniels. He whips him across the ropes and catches him with a back body drop on the way back. Mike Daniels lands on his feet after the back body drop and bounces off the other side of the ring. Brett Rayne turns around and is taken down by a crossbody block from the Daniels brother. Mike Daniels gets to his feet and waits for Brett Rayne to get up before he scoops him up for a bodyslam. Brett Rayne floats over before getting slammed on the mat and gives Mike Daniels the playboy kick as he turns around.
RK: “PLAYBOY KICK BY BRETT! This is almost as good as over, JR!”
Mark Daniels gets inside the ring and attacks Brett Rayne from behind. However, R.E. Rage hops inside the ring and delivers a hard clothesline that sends Mark down. Mark Daniels gets to his feet and is met by a double superkick to the face by RNR. This sends the other member of the Lost Boys tumbling to the outside of the ring.
JR: “Mark Daniels is out of the ring and it’s a 2-on-1 situation right now for the lone Daniels brother.”
RK: “JR, it’s gonna be a pretty ugly sight now. Expect a beat down for this guy at the hands of Rage and Rayne.”
Both men wait for Mike Daniels to get to his feet before performing a combination move where Rage delivers a spinning leg sweep and Brett delivers a superkick that sends his opponent back.
RK: “A combo move, JR, they call that the sweeping beauty!”
JR: “I see, King. Mike Daniels is on spaghetti legs right now and Rayne sends him into the ropes.”
Mike Daniels is caught by Rage with a titl-a-whirl flapjack while Rayne comes in to deliver the Rayne Drop at the same time.
RK: “ROUGH CUT! Nice combination move by RNR yet again!”
JR: “Mike Daniel has been sent down with the combo move by Rage and Rayne! Brett Rayne goes for the cover…1…2…3! Rage and Rayne retain the tag belts.”
The bell rings and RNR get their hands raised by the referee.
THII: “The winners and STILL the X-WCW Tag Team Champions…R-N-R!!!”
Both men get their title belts and raise it up high while the fans boo them loudly.
RK: “RNR wins, and I KNEW they would win it big tonight!”
JR: “The Lost Boys might have bitten off too much of what they were supposed to chew.”
RK: “They gave it their best shot…if they can actually call it their best shot.”
JR: “Anyway, we got to have a little commercial break right now folks. Warzone will be back right afgter this.”
Warzone heads to commercials while Rage and Rayne walk their way up the rampway.
Backstage
CR: "We are here backstage with Mike Magnus. Tonight, your not in any form of competition. How does it feel to just sit back and watch from the sidelines the rest of our competition? Does it come to your advantage since you'll be well rested for the upcoming PPV or does it still have a disadvantage?"
MM: “Does it still have a disadvantage? You know, you wouldn't normally hear someone asking that Cole. But your right, it can have its disadvantages. While my upcoming opponent gets a little more practice in, I get the rest. It might sound like a pretty good deal, but one learned move could easily equal a 3 count in this business, so I have to be on my toes at Starrcade.”
CR: "Speaking of Starrcade, earlier at the broadcast we saw you accepting Sandy Drake's challenge for the Television Title. What made you decide to gun for the X-WCW Television Title?"
MM: “Cole, to Mike Magnus, there is not lesser title. Each champion has earned their right to be there and deserves no less respect. Mr Drake is no exception. I'm honored that I was even considered for a shot at the man's title. Not long ago I was requesting a match to prove my worth and then, as if my prayers had been answered, Sandy Drake steps forward and gives me that chance. This title is my chance to cement my name alongside the other greats of this business. To be a champion is to be immortal. The TV title is my first step to greatness, Cole, and nothing less.”
CR: "Finally, do you have any message to the television champion himself as of this hour?"
MM: “Mr Drake. Sandy. I'm honored you gave me this opportunity. But make no mistake...this will not be a walk in the park for you. I will be coming full force for you and your title. I will be giving 150...no, correction...200%!! To this match. Fighting tooth and nail to walk away the champion. Drake, I may appreciate the shot you've given me...but I guarentee you...this is one of the most dangerous decisions you've made for your championship reign. For once i've laid you out with a Magnus Driver....and the ref has slapped the mat for the count of 3. "The Young One", Sandy Drake...You will know why I am the future of professional wrestling. I will look down upon you, MY new title in hand, and I will repeat these words. Sandy Drake...Welcome, to the future of the Industry.”
X-WCW goes to a commercial break.
#1 Contendership to the X-WCW Xtreme Championship
Fatal Four Way
Table Elimination Match
Big Dog vs Nightmare vs Seith Helloct vs Justin Sane
We go back from the commercial break to see Terri Hotbody stands in the middle of the ring, ready to announce the next match continue the action.
THII: “Ladies and Gentlemen the following match will be a Fatal Fourway Table Elimination match to decide the number one contender for the X-WCW Xtreme Championship!”
The crowd roars in excitement, eager to see the match start and some of their favorite wrestler in action.
THII: “Introducing first, from Pensacola Fl....Seith Helloct!”
"The Crows" by Dark Lotus burst out of the loudspeakers as Seith enters through the curtains. A mixed reaction comes from the crowd, peppered with boo's and cheers. A weak "Helloct" chant comes from the crowd, spread throughout. Seith slides into the ring and gets to his. Looking out at the crowd he makes his over to a ring attendant where he removes his trench coat and drops it over the ropes to him. Turning back he grabs the ropes to loosen up and watches for his opponents to make their way to the ring.
THII: "The second participant, coming straight out of your nightmares, here is the man known as Nightmare!"
Nightmare pushed through the curtains, looking out at the crowd. A reaction very similar to Seith's comes from the crowd. Nightmare appears not to notice. Emotionless he makes his way down the ramp and to the ring. Stopping at the bottom, his eyes lock with Seith's. Rolling into the ring, he goes over to the corner opposite Seith and grabs the ropes dropping down into a sitting position with his arms resting on his knees. There he awaits the match to begin.
THII: "The third participant, here is Big Dog!"
Big Dog burst through the curtains as "Stupify" by Distrubed hits the speakers. Arms raised , he poses for the fans before making his way down the ramp to a barrage of boo's from the crowd. He smiles the whole time, never fazed by the obvious distain from the fans. Climbing into the ring he goes over to the closest turnbuckle and ascends them. Posing once again he finally takes off his glasses in a dramatic fashion, a smile never leaving his face, before jumping down and looking at two of his three opponents in the ring. Turning towards the ramp he looks on as the last participant gets ready to enter.
THII: "The fourth and final particpant for this contest, from Davison, MI....Justin Sane!"
"Bodies" by Drowning Pool hits the loudspeakers as Justin blast through the curtains, running down the ramp and diving head first into the ring.
Forgetting the customery entrance ritual's, Justin pops to his feet, running straight at Nightmare and delivering a dropkick right to the jaw before Nightmare can get to his feet. Big Dog siezing the opportunity charges at Seith throwing up a big boot. Pushing the foot out of the way Seith ends up behind Big Dog, grabbing him by his head and slamming him to the mat. Big Dog rolls over to his stomach, clutching the back of his head, as he begins to find his feet. Getting back up, he is met with a boot to the stomach as Seith grabs his arm twisting it and then giving it a yank to send Big Dog in a forward flip to the mat. Across the ring Justin is peppering Nightmare with shots to the jaw. Pushing him back into the corner he attempts to yank him out and send him flying to the opposite corner. Nightmare regains his senses and reverses the momentum and then pulls Justin into the corner he had just popped out of. Justin slams, back first into the turnbuckles, staggering out in pain and is greeted with a jaw shattering superkick to the jaw knocking him first up and over the ropes to the floor below.
JR: “What a start for a match! Justin kicked in the octane from the begining!”
RK: “Nevermind Justin JR, how about that tremendous Superkick?!”
Grabbing the ropes Nightmare uses them to springboard over, landing a legdrop right across the face of the downed Justin. In the ring Seith is lifting Big Dog to his feet. Seith begins landing thrust to the throat of the Dog softening him, before laying him on his back with a final devestating one, nearly taking his head off. Bouncing off the ropes he measures and hits a flying elbow drop, leaving Big Dog clutching at his chest and rolling around in pain. Looking out at the crowd, Seith nods an acknowledgement that it time to get the tables. Dropping down and rolling out of the ring, he bends down and reaches under the ring skirt and pulls out a table which he takes and sets up outside the ring. Meanwhile one the other side Nightmare is pulling Justin back to his feet. Pushing Justin back against the barrier Nightmare begins a beautiful flowing combination, sending chops and kicks flying at the Insane One, leaving him reeling and dazed. With Justin stumbling around Nightmare jumps up on the apron, grabbing the ropes once again and using them to spring off and into a moonsault to the outside. Droping down and out of the way, Justin avoids the attack leaving Nightmare folded stomach first over the barrier.
JR: “Good God that has to hurt!”
RK: “Come on Nightmare, get up!”
Climbing the apron, Justin looks out to the crowd and then back at Nightmare, letting out a scream and running along the edge before jumping up and out into a flipping legdrop that connects with the back of Nightmares head. Nightmare crashes down, smacking his head against the barrier as he flips foward under the blow and lands on his back, his head throbbing in pain. In the ring Seith has Big Dog under fire, pushing a relentless assault his way. Landing Suplex after suplex, before delivering a brutal clothesline sending Big Dog over the ropes and rolling onto the table. The other two have had a brutal exchange during this, with Nightmare rolling back into the ring as Justin attempted a spring board clotheline. Coming down Nightmare delivers a vicious spinning heel kick to Justin's head as he dived at him, sending Sane to the canvas. Dazed yet once again Nightmare yanks Justin to his feet setting him and hitting his version of the Go To Sleep. Justin comes down jaw first and falls back rolling to the outside. Nightmare still slightly dazed notices movement from the ropes behind him, striking out and scoring another superkick, this time to Seith as he leaped to the outside apron preparing for a moonsault of his own to drive Big Dog through the table. Seith goes soaring backwards, straight for Big Dog, who at the last moment rolls off, leaving Seith to crash through the table and out of the match.
JR: “OH! What a turn of events!
RK: “Yeah, Seith thought he had the first elimination all but wrapped up, but found himself on the receiving end instead.”
Nightmare turns around after noticing who he has kicked and shakes his head. Turning to look for Justin he is met with a Whisper in the wind, which sends him crashing to the canvas. Rolling back to his feet he is met with a clothesline from Justin, who seeing Nightmare begin to get up once again goes back to the well hoping to keep up the momentum. Turning and running at the far ropes, Big Dog reaches up and yanks down, allowing Justin's momentum to carry him over the top and to the floor below. Big Dog climbs into the ring, tapping his head, and looking at the fans to point out the smart move. Noticing the stirring Nightmare he moves in for the kill. Charging forward he raises his foot, delivering the big boot right to Nightmare's skull, sending him reeling and back to the mat. Walking over to his downed opponent, Big Dog lifts Nightmare back to his feet, before lifting him up and dropping to one knee, hitting a backbreaker. Holding the move, he pushes down on the chin and legs of Nightmare, putting added pressure on the lower back, attempting to soften him up for a surefire eliminating move. Releasing the hold, he allows Nightmare to slump to the canvas, standing above him and looking out at the crowd, a cocky smile across his face. Not paying attention, he never see's the missile dropkick heading for his head until it is too late. Driven face first to the mat, he instinctively clutches at his face, holding it in an attempt to lessen the pain. He climbs back to his feet, looking for his attacker, never aware he is directly behind him. Justin taps Big Dog on the shoulder, making him turn around, and giving him a kick to the gut and locking him in for the Twist of Fate. Letting out another scream, he spins, ready to deliver the move, but is shoved off to the ropes where he is bounced off and hit with a nearly decapitating clothesline, spinning him in the air and then flat on the mat. During the exchange, Nightmare has climbed back into the ring, table in tow, setting it up in one of the opposite corners. Looking at Big Dog he walks up and past him, right to where Justin is laying and begins to stomp him to the ground. Big Dog gives a shrug and joins in, deciding that one down, is one down in this match. Nightmare pulls Justin back to his feet, shoving him back into the opposite corner of the table and unloads with a series of kick combo's, finishing off with a solid roundhouse to Justin's head, before grabbing his arm and whipping him out and full force at the table in the opposite corner. Justin looking barely conscious, reverses it at the split second he needs, sending Nightmare straight at the table. Nightmare noticing the approaching table, cuts on the breaks, stopping a hairs breathe before the table, then turning and barely ducking a clothesline that would have sent him head over heels and into the table by Big Dog. Big Dog stumbles with the miss, trying to skid to a stop before the table, but smacks right into it. Looking down he realizes the table it not broke and he is safe. Turning, a smile yet again on his face, his eyes open wide in horror as he just see's the dropkick from Justin heading straight for his chest. Scoring the hit, Justin hits the mat as Big Dog goes through the table, eliminating him from the match.
JR: “My gosh, what great timing!”
RK: “There was no way Big Dog was ever gonna see that one coming JR.”
Justin climbs to his feet, tired from the beating and exertion of the match. Remembering there is still another competitor he turns, looking for Nightmare, but finds only a DDT to the canvas. Nightmare sits up, cold cruel eyes drilling into the laid out Justin. Getting to his feet he grabs Justin up by the hair and sets him up for a powerbomb into the turnbuckles. Lifting Justin up, he prepares to drive him forward and down, but Justin quickly locks his legs, throwing himself backwards for a hurricarana. Nightmare somehow powers through with a growl, gripping Justin and stepping each leg over the arms of Justin and hooking him for a styles clash which sends Justin stomach and chest first into the mat. Releasing him Nightmare gets to his feet, sending a couple kicks to Justin's head before taking off for the opposite ropes and scoring a running dropkick to his downed opponent skull. Justin lays there in agony, foot slapping off the mat as he tries to work up the strength to get back to his feet. Before he can manage this feat he is once again pulled back to his feet. This time Nightmare locks him in a front headlock and pulls him back to the corner, climbing backwards up the turnbuckle he prepares to swing up and off, into a DDT. In mid-air Justin steps forward, pushing him off and crotch first onto the top rope. Straddling the rope in pain, Nightmare can do nothing but watch as Justin runs up the turnbuckles and leaps off, landing atop his shoulders and turning it into a hurricarana to the outside area. Justin bounces off the ring apron as Nightmare flys off and to the outside mat, smacking his leg off the barrier. Both men moan in pain, struggling to their feet, slowly. The two men stand, hands on their knees, panting. Staggering towards each other they each punch at the other, wearily, both men looking as if they are about to fall out. Nightmare breaks the stalemate, using a burst of energy to shoot Justin head first into the outside steel pole. Justin's head *Dong's* off the post, sending him staggering back in a daze. Nightmare seizing the opportunity shoves Justin by the head into the ring, where he rolls just past the ropes. Looking first around and then under the ring, Nightmare grabs a fresh table, lifting and then sliding it into the ring. He watches Justin as he climbs up and back into the squared circle, picking the table back up and positioning it a few feet away from the corner. Looking back at Justin, he seems lost in some dark thought before repositioning the table and then nodding to himself and assurance. Grabbing the Justin by the hair he gives him a few more shots to keep him docile before dragging him to the corner and then lifting him atop the turnbuckle. Climbing up he looks over his shoulder to measure the distance, turning back and sending a couple more shots to Justin's head. Hooking the head and grabbing the tights he begins to lift Justin up for a superplex. Justin brings his foot up, blocking the move. Nightmare yanks at his opponent again, attempting to pull him up and into the air to send him through the table, but Justin kicks his foot up once again to block the move for a second time. Justin begins sending punches to the side of Nightmares head, fighting him off and building momentum. Giving Nightmare a shot to the gut, Justin flips over into sunset flip, landing on his feet and yanking Nightmare with him for a powerbomb. Realizing the turn of events Nightmare grabs onto the back of Justin's head, preventing the powerbomb, before starting to throw punches to the head, attempting to break the hold. The crowd roars in excitement, as Justin shake's off the punches delivering a headbutt to the groin, leaving Nightmare flopping forward in pain as he is then yanked into the air and the insane one drives him through the table with a last ride powerbomb, ending his dreams of number one contendership. The bell sounds as Nightmare lays battered and bruised in the debris of the table, with Justin a few feet away, on his back as well, spent from the exchange.
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, YOUR WINNER OF THE MATCH AND NEW NUMBER ONE CONTENDER FOR THE X-WCW XTREME CHAMPIONSHIP.....JUSTIN SANE!
RK: “Nightmare got screwed! This is a travesty!”
JR: “Oh get off it. Justin won fair and square in a hard fought match. Tonight he was just the better man.”
RK: “Better man, my foot! JR, you know as well as I do if Nightmare gets up…he’d snap again!”
The ref rushes over to Justin, raising his hand and calling for the medical staff to come help the injured superstars. We see the medics enter the ring and begin attending to the 2 athletes as we hear “Hurt” by Johnny Cash being played in the ringside area.
JR: “Oh great what the heck does this idiot want?”
RK: “Idiot? That’s our Xtreme champion!”
The Renegade Ron Michaels comes out with a mic and starts to speak.
RRM: “What we have witnessed today is just another one of those hardcore matches for this title of mine. Ever since the inception of the X-WCW Xtreme title, it’s always like this. It ALWAYS has to bee something related to weapons, foreign objects or numerous weird stipulations I have NOT heard of since WCW folded. Unlike those four bozos who just risked their bodies with tables, I am not a hardcore style wrestler. The Renegade Ron Michaels is a PURE wrestler, and at Starrcade the matches for this Xtreme title is going to change. Tonight, I will announce the new Xtreme Rules. First of all, there will be no pinfalls in the ring. There are two ways to win the Xtreme Rules match. Either you make your opponent tap out or submit INSIDE the ring or they get knocked out on the outside of the ring by not answering a ten-count. Inside the ring, there will be no usage of a foreign object. But for those who just can’t help themselves for being a no-talent wrestler and rely on foreign objects, I got a solution to that. Outside the ring, weapons are not only allowed but encouraged!”
The fans give a mixed reaction to the new rules.
RK: “Wow, that’s one helluva set of stipulations if you ask me, JR!”
JR: “It’s definitely unique in some ways King. But we have to go on a commercial break. More Warzone when we come back!”
X-WCW goes on a commercial break while Renegade makes his exit from ringside.
X-WCW #1 Contendership to the Tag Team Championship
Fatal Four Way Team Match
StarStorm vs The Twiztid Hunters vs The Stix Brothers vs The Final Frontier
We go back to ringside with Terri Hotbody II standing at the middle of the X-WCW ring.
THII: “The following fatal four way tag team match will determine the #1 contendership for the tag team championship.”
“Enemy” by fozzy hits the speakers and Starstorm makes their way towards the ringside area.
THII: “Introducing first, the team of Alec Lightstar and Raven Darkstorm…STARSTORM!!!”
JR: “Here comes starstorm, one of the four teams slated to be in this match.”
RK: “I gotta be honest with ya JR, I think these guys have it in themselves to win this match.”
JR: “Well there are still 3 more teams ya know?”
RK: “OF COURSE I KNOW! I am just saying I favor these guys over the rest.”
Both Alec and Raven get inside the ring and do their introductory poses before the next song hits. “Mutant X” by Twiztid blares over the speakers and the Hunter Brothers make their entrances onto the ringside area.
THII: “From Detroit Michigan, the team of Jake and Ken Hunter…THE TWIZTID HUNTERS!!!”
The fans give the Hunter brothers some warm reception as they make their way down the aisle.
JR: “Ken and Jake Hunter, also a brother tag team just like Starstorm.”
RK: “WAIT! You mean Raven Darkstorm and Alec Lightstar are brothers?”
JR: “They’re not?”
RK: “I dunno! I was asking YOU, JR!”
JR: “Beats me, I don’t bring the whole bah gawd bios of all the X-WCW stars now do I?”
RK: “So all those facts you put up the wrestlers tonight?”
JR: “Two words King: Stock Knowledge”
Both Hunter boys get inside the ring and go on separate corner to pose for the fans who are half cheering and half booing them.
JR: “Regardless of the case, The Hunters made their return on Nitro and attacked the team who sent them into a body of water. Heck, even a few minutes ago in this broadcast they interfered with Fragile Minds again.”
RK: “I am not certain if they are doing the right thing by messing with that trio or just wants a death warrant come Starrcade: Revolution. Whatever the case, both of those teams are CRAZY!”
Some unfamiliar symphony music plays and the Stix Brothers make their way to ringside. The fans give the deranged pair a mixed on their way down the rampway.
THII: “At a combined weight of 700 lbs, the team of Damien and Dante Stix…THE STIX BROTHERS!!!”
JR: “Oh boy, these fans quite remember the deranged pair don’t they king?”
RK: “Yeah, I remember them as well. Fiddle Stix and Dip Stix!!! My favorite names for a tag team. I think they have it all don’t they JR? hahahah!”
JR: “Your sarcasm knows no bounds do they King? Aside from that, here is another brother combination coming towards the ring in the form of the Stix Brothers.”
RK: “I dunno JR, they may not look like it…but sure as hell they act like it. They got a brotherly bond just by their track record of escaping arkham asylum and signing for the X-WCW!”
The Stix Brothers enter the ring and take one corner while the two teams that were there before them just wait for the final competitors. “No more words” plays in the background and Final Frontier make their entrance at ringside.
THII: “And at a combined weight of 455 lbs, the team of Sci-Fi Man and Autobot Jazz, FINAL FRONTIER!!!”
The fans cheer at the duo who make their way down the rampway.
JR: “Final Frontier seem to be on a roll lately, King.”
RK: “On a roll? They just won a match, it’s not like they have been winning matches before Nitro! When they win tonight, JR, you can prove your theory that they are on a roll.”
JR: “Speaking of proving themselves, they do seem to have a current rivalry between RNR. The current champions even mocked at Final Frontier for not having the initiative to take the title from Starstorm like they did.”
RK: “The obvious fact there is RNR is the best tag team we have now, the belts just proved that fact. In this match, it’s just gonna prove who is next in line to try and take it away from the team and I am still going to say it’s Starstorm.”
SFM and AJ get into the ring and pose for the fans as they continue to cheer in approval of Final Frontier. Eventually, their music fades and both men do a high five on each other. All eight men are inside the ring, but all of a sudden “Filmstar” hits the speakers and a red carpet is rolled down in preparation of RNR. With all of this happening, the crowd unanimously boos the upcoming arrival of the tag team champions.
RK: “Speaking of the champs, here they are!”
With RK’s announcement, the team of Brett Rayne and R.E. Rage make their way down the rampway wearing the identical wardrobe of the new Revolution T-Shirt and jeans. Rage has his title perched on his shoulder while Brett Rayne has his placed around his waist. While the tag team champions make their way towards the ringside area, the four tag teams just look at them.
JR: “Ladies and gentlemen, the tag team champions RNR are making their way down the rampway as we speak. I wonder what they are doing here.”
RK: “One thing is for sure, all 8 men just don’t feel good about this one.”
The two men walk around the outskirts of the ring and give a smile or a half smirk towards the competitors inside who seem hungry to get those title belts away from them. RNR grabs two foldable chairs and props it beside the ring announcers.
RK: “Hehe, I guess we got a couple of special guest commentators tonight, JR!”
Rage: “Damn right, King! Me and Brett here would like to sit down and have an up close and personal view of the 4 aspiring teams who would just love to be the number one contender.”
Brett: “It’s quite simple really, regardless of who wins tonight in this match, they would be just another tag team that the playboy and the evolution would whip from pillar to post at Starrcade.”
JR: “I am not quite sure of that Brett. There may still be a chance of you guys losing at the biggest PPV of all. If my recollection was correct, the last 2 Starrcades saw all the tag team champions losing their belts.”
Rage: “JR, we defy the history of the past two starrcades, hence why the added ‘revolution’ tag to it. We will revolutionize the way Starrcade would be seen in terms of tag team wrestling, and break the supposed curse on the tag team champions.”
With the team settled in nicely with the two announcers, the bell rings to start off the match. 6 men clear out, leaving Damien Stix and Sci-Fi Man the first two to compete. Both men go to the center of the ring and SFM looks up to the taller opponent before he backs up and locks horns with him.
RK: “This doesn’t look good for the resident superhero, guys!”
Rage: “Obviously, Damien does have the size advantage of this face-off. SFM might be a little bit on the batty side, but if he is smart he can manage it.”
Soon enough, Damien shoves SFM hard to the mat. SFM rolls up to his feet and is quick to charge at his opponent, which gives him a big boot to the face for his troubles.
Brett: “I guess from the looks of that big boot, Rage, he aint that smart after all.”
Rage: “Sad, but true.”
SFM manages to get to his feet again and tries to deliver some fast punches to the midsection of Damien Stix. It doesn’t faze the bigger man who just grabs SFM and delivers a knee to the gut. He whips SFM towards the ropes and goes for a clothesline in which SFM slides away from and bounces on the other end. Upon his return towards Damien Stix, he delivers a flying forearm smash that sends the big man staggering a bit. SFM gets to his feet and delivers a quick dropkick that finally sends the bigger man to the mat.
JR: “That dropkick finally sent Damien down to the mat.”
Rage: “Finally! I thought for sure SFM would have been dead on arrival after that initial exchange of moves.”
Brett: “Thankfully, that would come in the next few seconds or so.”
Damien manages to get to his feet and he looks around with no sign of SFM in sight. He turns around and SFM flies from the corner and goes for a flying crossbody. Damien goes down and SFM tries to hook him up for the pin. Unfortunately, the bigger man tosses SFM away from him and slowly gets to his feet.
JR: “Damien Stix didn’t even give the referee the chance to count that pin.”
RK: “I know he and Dante are weird, but damn it JR, he is one powerful hoss!”
Sci-Fi Man tags out to Ken Hunter and both of them grab Damien Stix and sends him into the ropes. On the way back, Damien takes both men down with dual clotheslines.
RK: “That was so powerful, JR, it almost took off their heads.”
Rage: “The simplest way to avoid such a catastrophe like that, King, was to just duck.”
Rayne: “You actually EXPECT those idiots to duck?”
Rage: “I wanted them to…”
SFM rolls out of the ring while Damien Stix hauls up Ken to his feet. He places Ken Hunter on his shoulders before hitting the samoan drop. Damien Stix drags Ken Hunter towards his corner and tags out to Dante. Damien grabs Ken Hunter and reels him between his legs before both Stix brothers send him down with a double powerbomb. Ken Hunter goes down the mat while Dante covers him for the pin.
JR: “The pin is made, 1,…2…but he kicked out.”
Dante Stix doesn’t look pleased and tries to whip Ken Hunter into a corner, however, it is reversed and Dante hits that corner instead. Ken Hunter charages and connects with a clothesline from the corner before tagging out to Raven Darkstorm. With Dante down on the ring, Raven launches himself from the apron and connects with a slingshot legdrop on Dante before he tries to cover him for the pinfall.
Rage: “Another pin going on here, guys. 1…2…and Ken Hunter ACTUALLY breaks it up. This might be a start of something brewing in the air eh Brett?”
Raven Darkstorm gets to his feet and shoves Ken Hunter. Ken Hunter fights back with a hard punch to the face that sends RD to the mat. Alec Lightstar gets into the ring and clotheslines Ken to the outside of the ring. AL follows him there with a suicide planca.
RK: “Lightstar didn’t appreciate what Ken just did this his partner.”
Rage: “By the looks of it, King, sure as heck he doesn’t!”
Back in the ring, RD and Dante Stix get to their feet and starts to brawl. Dante gets the advantage with a thumb to the eye of RD. RD stumbles into a bodyslam by Dante and hits the mat. Dante Stix bounces off the ropes and delivers an elbow drop straight to the chest cavity of his opponent. Dante Stix doesn’t appear to be finished with RD as he grabs him by the throat and starts to strangle him on the mat. The referee breaks it up after 5 seconds and forces Dante a few steps back to give RD some breathing room.
JR: “Dante Stix seemed to be enjoying that move huh?”
Rage: “I guess he is, JR. I mean, it looks like he is the type of loony who would enjoy such a thing as using an illegal chokehold on your opponent.”
Dante Stix fumes before backing into the corner. Someone slaps him from the back and it turns out to be Jake Hunter. Jake Hunter hops over the ropes and into the ring while we see RD recovering. RD gets to his feet and is met by a hard punch to the chin by Jake. Jake Hunter delivers a couple of more jabs before he floors his opponent with a clothesline. He picks up Raven Darkstorm and sets him up for a suplex, but RD rolls him in an inside cradle for the surprise pin.
JR: “Here is the pin..1-2-CLOSE!”
Rage: “Close the what?”
JR: “I meant, that was close!”
Rayne: “Yeah JR, what should we close down on?”
RK: “You know JR, they have a point, what needs to be closed?”
JR: “Ugh…never mind!”
Both men get to their feet and RD is quick to dispatch Jake Hunter with a dropkick to the face. Jake gets to his feet, but RD catches him with a boot to the gut and locks him in a front face lock. With Jake in his grasps, he backs up and tags out to Alec Lightstar. With Hunter still held up by Raven Darkstorm, AL bounces off the ropes and delivers a knee strike straight onto the ribs of the Hunter Brother. Jake rolls onto the mat and clutches his midsection. Alec Lightstar hauls up Jake and whips him into the ropes. Jake Hunter bounces off the ropes and AL tries to deliver a clothesline but it’s ducked. During Jake’s bounce off the other end, AJ taps him from behind and the referee sees the tag.
Rage: “Pretty sneaky at the part of Autobot Jazz, Brett. Tagging himself in and-WOW! Jake Hunter just wasted Lightstar with a spinning heel kick.”
Rayne: “Damn right, Rage.”
JR: “The referee escorts the Hunter Brother back into his corner and Autobot Jazz is quick to move into the ring and picks up Lightstar.”
RK: “Lightstar is on his feet and he gets lit up by a hard chop across his chest.”
Rage: “Something tells me he’ll have an Indian burn mark on his chest after this match.”
AJ backs AL into the corner and hits him with a couple of shoulder charges to the gut region. He climbs up and begins to hammer away on his opponent’s face. As the crowd gets into it and counts along, RD is there to spoil it when he goes over to the corner and grabs AJ. He stunguns AJ onto the top rope and he falls down. Raven Darkstorm climbs up to the top turnbuckle and tries to go for something, but SFM gets inside the ring and bodyslams him down to the mat. Soon enough, the other 4 wrestlers fill in the ring and it’s an 8-man brawl.
Rage: “The ring is filling in nicely eh?”
JR: “A melee just broke out, King! All 8 men are inside the ring!!!”
Rayne: “I tell you what King, this aint a pleasant sight at all.”
RK: “You got that right Brett, not a pleasant sight at all indeed!”
Alec Lightstar tangles with Sci-Fi Man at one corner while we see Dante Stix battling with Raven Darkstorm. Ken Hunter and Jake Hunter are battling against the big Damien Stix. This action leaves Autobot Jazz by himself as he recovers from the cheapshot that was afflicted to him by RD. Damien Stix waylays his opponents and clotheslines both Hunter Brothers over the top rope. Damien Stix surprises everyone at ringside when he bounces off the ropes and does dives through the ropes just to lay out the Hunters on the outside.
Rage: “HOLY FRICKIN COW! How the hell did that hoss do such a thing?”
Rayne: “Guess these idiots can be a better match to us after all than Carnage Inc. huh?”
AJ goes over to SFM and helps him out with Alec Lightstar. On the other side, Raven Darkstorm is getting punished by some hard hitting shots by Dante Stix. After a while, Dante takes RD and himself to the outside with a big clothesline. Final Frontier has Alec Lightstar to themselves and they whip him into the ropes. Final Frontier catches AL and takes him down with a double hiptoss. AL is hauled up by both men and its SFM’s turn to deliver the Spiral Vortex. AL comes hurling down to the mat and is not moving. AJ picks up AL and delivers the Statis Lock for good measure before pinning him for the match.
JR: “1-2-3! THEY DID IT! FINAL FRONTIER HAS WON THE MATCH!”
Rage: “Whooptie-frickin-doowoop! So the duo who can’t hack it wins. Guess we got ourselves a little bit to work on eh Brett?”
Rayne: “Damn right, those losers can enjoy their win tonight. As far as were concerned, they’ll be just another tag team in the list that we will dominate here in the X-WCW.”
”No more words” hits as the referee declares Final Frontier as the winnrs.
THII: “The winners of this match and the #1 contnders for the X-WCW Tag Team Titles…FINAL FRONTIER!!!”
X-WCW goes on a commercial break with both AJ and SFM celebrating in the ring.
X-WCW World Championship
Triple Threat Match
Tony Bonito vs Otacon vs Karl Baller ©
X-WCW goes back on the air after that brief commercial break. We head over to the announce booth with James Russell and Randal King.
JR: “Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen, to another action packed edition of X-WCW Warzone! Our main event will feature three best men in the industry today competing for the X-WCW World Championship Belt.”
RK: “Speaking of the belt, we have it right here with us at the announce booth!”
Randal King cues the camera to zoom out to see the belt placed in between JR and RK.
JR: “The reason for this is that the current World Champion, Karl Baller, feels he doesn’t deserve to hold this belt every time he comes out to the ring. He feels that he has a lot to prove to the fans and to himself as well.”
RK: “The fans already see him as the champ, JR. I guess KB is his own worst critic.”
The camera pans over to the ring and we see Terri Hotbody II with a microphone.
THII: “The following triple threat match is for the X-WCW World Championship Title!”
“Superstar” by Saliva hits the PA Systems and Otacon makes his way to some cheers.
THII: “Introducing first, he hails from Manchester..OTACON!!!”
Otacon makes his way down the rampway and looks focused.
JR: “Otacon is a 2 time X-WCW World Champion. On both occasions, he has won the biggest prize in our company in a 3-way match. Be it inside a cell or just a normal match, he has done it. So this type of match really favors him King.”
RK: “It might favor him JR, but I doubt it would be easy enough for him to pull off. True, he has defeated both KB and TB at separate occasions but he needs more than the win-loss record and his advantage to get the title tonight.”
Otacon enters the ring and poses for the fans who continue to cheer for him. He climbs up the nearby corner and repeatedly beats his chest before hopping down to the mat. He pulls the ring ropes for a short while before facing the stage and waiting for his opponent. “Fury of the storm” hits and TB walks out to the ringside area with a loud chorus of boos from the audience. He does his usual pre-match routine as he points upwards for the pyros to shoot into the air. After doing so, he makes his way down the rampway.
THII: “From Boston Massachusetts, Revolution member…TONY BONITO!!!”
JR: “Tony Bonito, is one great wrestler but has YET to win the X-WCW World Title during his stay with the company.”
RK: “That’s damn sure, JR. He has been in a couple or a handful of title matches for the biggest prize, but always seems to come short…or just gets screwed from it most of the time.”
JR: “He sure has the talent to win the X-WCW World Title, King, but I doubt it was because he has been repeatedly screwed over is the main reason why he has not tasted it in his stay in the X-WCW.”
Bonito enters the ring and takes off his sports jacket before heading towards the corner and raising both index fingers high into the air. Once there, the “nito sucks” chants start to drown out the music. Bonito doesn’t look pleased with the chants and just shouts at them to “SHUT UP!” before climbing down the corner to eye Otacon from the other side.
RK: “Another thing to note, JR, Otacon and Bonito have a HISTORY with each other.”
JR: “I kind of know that fact as well. Before Otacon was a world champion, he still took it to Bonito in their epic encounters during 2005.”
“Hate it of Luv” plays on the speakers and Karl Baller enters the ringside area to the biggest crowd reaction of the night.
THII: “And from Philadelphia Pennsylvania, he is the current X-WCW World Champion…KARL BALLER!!!”
The fans start to chant “KAY-BEE!” repeatedly as the champion strolls down the rampway and slaps some hands of the fans located in his area.
JR: “The whole crowd is unanimous in cheering for the champion.”
RK: “He has to be one charismatic champion, JR. Heck he IS charismatic.”
KB slides into the ring and eyes both of his competitors while leaning on the ropes. The music gets cut and the bell sounds off to start the match. Tony Bonito is quick to act as he charges for the champion himself. This proves to be not such a smart move due to KB anticipating the move and sending TB to the mat with a hiptoss. TB gets to his feet and it’s Otacon’s turn to take him down with a shoulder block. Both men pick up Bonito and send him towards the ring ropes.
JR: “Bonito, with the bounce off the ropes, gets caught with a double dropkick by both Otacon and KB.”
RK: “Oh this isn’t fair, JR! They are double teaming him! This is supposed to be triple threat rules!”
Baller and Otacon stomp down the recovering TB before they haul him to his feet yet again. Bonito starts to fight back with punches on both the conman and KB before both men kick him hard in the mid-section area. KB is the first to act and he bounces off the ropes to deliver an axe kick on Bonito. Bonito is sent tot eh mat with the devastating axe kick and Baller rolls him for the pin. Before the referee could count, however, Otacon pulls KB off Tony Bonito. KB is taken aback by that action while Otacon lifts Tony Bonito to his feet and attempts to deliver the final impact. Bonito shoves Otacon towards the ropes, where Otacon bounces off from and delivers a clothesline. Unfortunately, Bonito ducked the clothesline and it was Karl Baller who was in the receiving end of Otacon’s attack.
RK: “HAH! That shows them not to double team Bonito! Eventually, someone gets greedy here.”
JR: “After all King, it is a triple threat match. First one to get a pinfall or submission wins the belt.”
Otacon shrugs it off before he turns around to meet Bonito. TB grabs Otacon and delivers an overhead belly-to-belly suplex to the former champion. Otacon is sent flying towards the other end of the ring while Bonito waits for KB to get to his feet. TB grabs a hold of him and tries to go for an overhead German suplex. To the surprise of TB, Karl Baller lands on his feet and takes him to the outside of the ring with a dropkick to the face.
JR: “Bonito crashed down to the outside of the ring thanks to KB’s dropkick.”
RK: “Tony should be careful with Karl Baller. He surely is agile and quick on his feet to say the least.”
Otacon gets back to his feet and he sees KB is the only one in the ring. Both men stare down at each other before coming to blows. The fans are on their feet as both men continue to deliver some hard hitting punches to each other. KB eventually gets the advantage and hits a hard forearm smash to the face of Otacon. He tries to whip Otacon into the corner but the conman reverses it. Otacon follows him over to the corner and KB floats over the conman and does a back flip while his opponent turns around. Otacon tries to clothesline him but KB does the split leg duck to avoid it. But as the cameras focus on KB getting to his feet and preparing for his kick on Otacon, an off-screen smack could be heard.
JR: “OH GOODNESS! Otacon just got smacked over the head with that steel chair, courtesy of Andrew Radon!”
THII: “As a result of interference, this match has been made to a NO CONTEST!!!”
Sure enough the bell rings after Otacon gets blasted with the chair and KB soon afterwards. Outside the ring, we see Bonito already on his feet but he just observes everything from the outside with a smirk. That was until Cane Deathscream hopped over the barricade behind him and attacks him from behind.
RK: “What in the world?! Cane Deathscream is also in on this thing as well?!”
Cane and TB are brawling on the inside of the ring while Andrew Radon continues to attack the fallen champion inside the ring. All of a sudden, Ignavus runs down the ramp and quickly makes it to the top turnbuckle. He launches himself off and connects with a missile dropkick right on Andrew Radon. The slacker stomps down on Radon for a while before a horde of referees storm into ringside and break the fight inside the wrestling ring. On the outside, a couple of referees also break up the fight between Bonito and Cane Deathscream. With all of the altercations happening at ringside, we see John Crook’s face appearing on the X-Tron.
JC: “Gentlemen, PLEASE settle down!”
He makes a brief pause while the fans boo at him. Eventually, all six wrestlers are restrained by the ring officials and are facing the X-Tron.
JC: “That’s more like it. I have an announcement that concerns all 6 of you and also for the fans in attendance. At Starrcade: Revolution, the main event will be the X-WCW World Championship match featuring Karl Baller, Ignavus, Otacon, Cane Deathscream, Tony Bonito, and Andrew Radon! Furthermore, all six participants will compete under a Rage in a Cage: Sinister Six Elimination match!!!”
JR: “BAH GAWD KING! Did you hear that?!”
RK: “The cage is back, JR. Remember the last time that structure reared it’s ugly head?”
JR: “It has been 4 years King, and now it’s back thanks to John Crook.”
X-WCW goes off the air as it shows the X-WCW World Championship Title Belt on the announcer’s table with JR’s voice being heard:
JR: “Six Men, One Cage, and you know…there is going to be some hell inside that structure. On behalf of Randal King, this is James Russell…GOODNIGHT!”
